An English Bridle-Gauntlet For The Left Arm Mid-17th Century, Possibly Greenwich Of russet iron, with rounded elbow-length cuff riveted together along the inner side (patch end repair) and with turned upper edge bordered by dome-headed lining rivets, the hand with four upward-lapping metacarpal plates and embossed knuckle-plate articulated on rivets, overlapping finger-scales and thumb-defence (some replacements) all rivet to the later leathers, and with incised double line borders (pitted overall) 56.5 cm.
