A rare Edward VIII Coronation glass tankard 1936 Engraved, the base inset with a silver Coronation medal depicting Edward VIII wearing his crown (Turner & Simpson, London, 1936), numbered 83/126, within a presentation box embossed 'H. V. / 1972.', 13cm wide x 16cm high x 10cm deep Footnotes: That Edward VIII is wearing his crown in the inset Coronation medal is significant and shows that this was produced before knowledge of his abdication. Condition Report Overall in good condition, with minor surface dirt commensurate with age. Presentation box with some scuffs and surface dirt, and some losses to leather underneath. Some staining to interior lining. This condition report is provided for convenience only and may not cover factors that a bidder considers important.
