A Norwegian Officer's Sword 20th Century With bright fullered blade double-edged towards the point and etched over each side 'FOR KONGE OG FEDRELAND' between Celtic strapwork, crowned Norwegian arms and demi-dragons, the forte on one side with Karl Eickhorn, Solingen maker's mark above 'ROSTFREI', ormolu hilt cast and pierced with crowned Norwegian arms between dragons, bird's head rear quillon, pommel cast with winged grotesque mask on the back-piece, and wire-bound fishskin-covered grip, and complete with its bullion sword-knot, in original nickel-plated scabbard with suspension mount 75 cm. blade For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
