Toys and models, such as those going under the hammer at Lacy Scott & Knight in Suffolk on February 18 have a huge appeal for collector focusing on, for example diecast toys or model trains.

Wrenn Locomotive

Appealingly modern, this maroon train is a W2302 Wrenn Coronation class streamlined locomotive and tender, The Duchess of Rutland. Pedal Car

Made and issued in 1968, this pedal car, PINES is by G Perego of Italy. Made after the 1963 Lotus 29 Indianapolis #6 in British Racing Green, the 46in vehicle makes a roaring engine sound (a new motor is included) and quick release knock-off wheels. Steam Train

Offered with a collection of paperwork relating to testing, certification, running history and purchase, this Peter Angus Locomotive and Mike Lax 32mm scale gas-powered radio-controlled model of a Darjeeling Sivok Works 0-4-0 locomotive has an estimate of £1500-2000. Marine Engine
