Percy Metcalfe (1895-1970), for Ashtead Pottery, a pair of "Lion of Industry" stylised earthen ware figures circa 1925, painted Ashtead Potters mark to base and both with impressed signature, height 18cm & length 23cm. Condition - one lion with chipped tooth, otherwise fine, no further chips, no cracks and no restoration, general wear including light crazing.
