Percy Metcalfe (1895-1970), for Ashtead Pottery, a pair of "Lion of Industry" stylised earthen ware figures circa 1925, painted Ashtead Potters mark to base and both with impressed signature, height 18cm & length 23cm. Condition - one lion with chipped tooth, otherwise fine, no further chips, no cracks and no restoration, general wear including light crazing.

Set of five Ashtead turquoise pottery plates and matching charger with running deer to rim of plates in relief, marked to base and initialled 'PGV', the plates 23cm diameter, the charger 32cm diameter (6) Condition ReportAll plates are in good overall condition and show three small spur marks on the base surfaces; three plates have faded in colour, one has a barely visible hairline crack towards the centre (approx 4cm) and there are a few tiny glazing flaws (see additional images)
