A Dissolving Set of Lantern Slides With a Snow Effect, comprising of three wooden framed slides, the first a hand-painted static image of carol singers in the moon lit snow before a house, the second slide with a family in the warm glow of a house behind a red curtain that rises, the third a perforated blind to give the effect of falling snow, slides, 7" x 4.5" Note: According to the vendor 'this dissolving set has been used as the final item in many Christmas performances. The complete set of only three slides provide a mini show as the snow starts to fall, the light in one of the lens systems is slowly increased to reveal a group of carol singers assembled outside a country house. A light is switched on inside the front room and the blind slowly raised to show the family gathered as they listen to the carol and finally the blind is lowered'
