19th / 20thC Indian embroidered coat or coat dress, with a note stating the coat was gifted in the late 1940s after partition by the last Mir of the Talpurs (Sind province). Note states the coat to be early 1800s, in our opinion, more likely late 19th / 20thC, length 114cm. Please see photograph of the note, images online show the last Mir wearing a similar coat, but not this garment.
