The vase repaired and reattached to the column and the rim of the vase with discoloration and damaged. A section just underneath the vases square base cracked and slightly lifted. Losses to the right side of the top. Slit to the front of the top to the right side. Historic flight holes. Splits to the wood on the top, sides and back. The lock has been removed from the left door, the left doors with splits to the inside where the lock has been sawn off. The right doors with lock complete but without key. both doors with modern magnets to keep them held closed. Watermarks and residue to the top and interior. Historic repairs. A painted wooden doll, 19th century, with painted features and articulated arms, on an associated simulated marble plinth,13cm wide40cm highCondition ReportOverall the doll is in distressed condition, but stable. Separation between the shoulder and elbow joints and the metal rods are permanently bent so the limbs are not fully articulated. Some splits to the wood at the shoulders. Evidence of alteration/repair to the face. General wear, peeling surfaces, and disintegration to paint but stable, with some losses. Some heavy varnish to some areas. Sits securely on stand, but the base is not quite level. Please see additional photos.

THOMAS ONA ODULATE (1900-1952), Nigeria early 20th century, two Yoruba Nigerian satirical wood sculptures with applied pigments; one of a soldier standing to attention with satchel across his back and hat at lopsided angle (now lacking gun), 26cm high (excluding plinth); and another of a priest standing in contemplative pose with outstretched arms and hands (possibly lacking a book), 22cm high (2)Thomas Ona Odulate was a noted Yoruba wood carver who worked at Ijebu Ode, and later in Lagos. He carved the colonials (administrators, soldiers, lawyers, married couples etc.) and the Yoruba. His work had a 'tongue in cheek' edge and were almost all sold to the British and tourists.His figures are in traditional 'Yarouba style' with large heads in proportion to the body, and executed with the carving tools of the adze and knife. However he deviated from usual religious subject matter to the secular, and used more than one piece of wood for his sculptures with the creation of carvings of hats, guns, and books etc.

A Victorian mahogany bookcase cabinet. The upper part with two glazed doors enclosing glass shelves, the lower part with two further glazed doors, on a plinth base, height 225cm, width 147cm, depth 55cm.There are a few losses and breaks, please see the additional images, a complete length of moulding is missing from the left side lower door.The glass shelves are obviously later replacements, along with three down lighters, fitted into the top and a magnetic catch.
A Minton Majolica jardiniere. The deep blue ground applied with six straps with lion mask ring mounts each terminating in a paw foot, on a matched marbled pottery plinth, apparently unmarked, height 43cm.Internally it is a little dirty and stained, it has been drilled and bolted to the base.One of the paws of the jardiniere overhangs the base slightly.The base has a couple of small rim chips.
A George III memento mori. Painted and applied with a grieving female beside an urn on an inscribed plinth, with a sailing ship in the background, inscribed below 'John Benbow 1780', 5.1cm including suspension loop X 3.2cm, in a silver coloured mount.Possibly some fading to the applied grasses, otherwise no issues.
An Art Deco demi lune maple cocktail cabinet. With fluted twin doors enclosing a single shallow shelf above recessed glass and decanter holders two slide out shelves single cupboard door with drawer to interior above tiered plinth base, height 123cm width 129cm depth 47cm.The cupboard doors are not quite flush to the sides and have a slighty tapering gap (wider at the bottom) which may of been caused by either the sides not being square or the doors have been re-hung. Joints are firm, general light wear to veneers and small chips, some slightly heavier wear on hgher use areas, protective glass top with two chips. Additional images online.
