An Art Deco walnut grandmother clock, with silvered dial and three-train striking movement. Height 153 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The front right hand section of the bracket foot is detached. We have the piece. Otherwise the case is in generally good structural condition with only minor surface marks and scratches as one would expect. The polish in places is a little tired. The silvered brass dial is in reasonable order. The movement only winds on two trains. The centre train appears to have a problem. We do not have the bob part of the pendulum and cannot tell if the clock is working.
An Art Deco glass and chrome two tier trolley. Width 67 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The stand is structurally sound with no repairs, damage or restoration. The castors are original. The castor supports and wheels are showing slight signs of rust. The chrome plating is generally dirty but does not seem to have any losses. The mirrored shelves do not have any significant damage but do have minor edge and corner nibbles. Some of the paintwork to the underside is chipped and scratched. This is more evident when viewed from the top surface. One shelf has a nibble to one corner, a small chip to one side and several further small edge nibbles. The second tray has one small corner nibble and one small edge chip with various other very small nibbles, none of these in our opinion serious.
