1973 BMW 3.0 CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 44632 In 1968, BMW introduced a new two-door coupé that was designed and built by Karman. This new model was named internally as the E9 and the first version produced was named the 2800 CS, it featured an increased wheelbase to accommodate a new straight-six engine. The front of the car was restyled to resemble the E3 saloon model otherwise known as the 'shark nose'. Production of the E9 would run until 1975. During this time the 2800 CS was replaced by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi in 1971. Performance of the 3.0 CSi compared well with its contemporaries, such as the E-Type Jaguar and the Ford Capri 3.0 but at over £5,500 it was a third more expensive than the Jaguar. Partly due to this formidable price, only 207 of this model were registered in the UK between November 1973 and November 1975. It was arguably the most advanced car for its time with standard Bosch K Tronic injection supplying fuel to the six-cylinder overhead cam engine, power steering, disc brakes all round and electronic windows front and rear. This stunning example of BMW’s Pillarless Coupé was UK registered on 7th May 1975 and is thought to be one of the first in the UK market. The vendor purchased this car in 2014 and almost immediately set about a considerable restoration project. The works started with an engine rebuild at Cotswold Cars. The car was then handed to restoration specialist, Justin Simmons at Pinkneys Green, Maidenhead for a comprehensive four-year restoration, costing over £100,000. The history file for KKJ 952N contains all invoices for the impressive amount of work undertaken. All the parts and panels used were either purchased from E9 specialists, Jaymic Ltd in the UK or Wallothnesch in Germany for original BMW classic parts. The file also contains a full photographic history of the works completed, from the bare metal respray to the fine example we see today. This fantastic example benefits from the addition of a stainless steel exhaust, a City Pack original spoiler, a Momo black leather steering wheel, new tyres throughout and has recently been retrimmed. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and, although exempt, a new MoT test certificate. This wonderful example is reserved at a fraction of the current investment level of the vendor.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1993 BMW 850Ci Transmission: automatic Mileage: 138216Design of the 8 Series began in 1984 with the final design phase and production development in 1986. It debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in early September 1989 and was designed to move beyond the market of the original 6 Series. The 8 Series however had substantially improved performance as well as a far higher purchase price. Over 1.5 billion Deutsche Marks were spent on development; BMW used CAD tools, still unusual at the time, to design the car's all-new body. Combined with wind tunnel testing, the resulting car had a drag coefficient of 0.29 and offered the first V12 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox on a road car. It was also one of the first vehicles to be fitted with an electronic 'drive-by-wire' throttle. This BMW 850Ci is a well presented example offered in a desirable colour combination. Both the paintwork and interior are in very good order and the car comes complete with a history file containing the current MoT test certificate and the UK V5C registration document. Recently treated to a an extensive respray the BMW looks wonderful. A commanding 90's sports car representing great value especially with the prices for modern classic V12's ever increasing.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1985 BMW M635CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 77849The BMW M635CSi was the brainchild of BMW’s Motorsport department and arrived to the market in 1984. Karmann manufactured the early 6 Series BMWs from launch in 1976 before BMW took production in-house. The engine was a development of the M1 supercar's 3453cc, 24 valve, six cylinder unit producing 286bhp, the increased power necessitating chassis improvements which included altered weight distribution, revised suspension, larger brakes and a limited slip differential. There was also a close ratio five-speed gearbox (or four speed multi-mode auto) and a more luxurious interior, while outwardly this ultimate 6 Series model was readily distinguishable by virtue of its 'M Technic' bodykit. Performance was impressive with the M635CSi capable of reaching 0-62mph in around six seconds on its way to a top speed in excess of 155mph.This fabulous, very rare, early chrome bumper, matching numbers M88 powered manual gearbox 'Shark' comes from a private BMW Car Club member and enthusiast and is a car well known in the Club having been seen at many Club Shows and notably was on the club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show. Presented in probably the best colour combination of Cosmos Blau with Pacific Blue interior with a factory fitted Mtec body kit. In fabulous condition throughout, it sits on period uprated alloy wheels housing uprated 8 Series brakes (original wheels also supplied) and boasting a limited slip differential. Originally registered on 1st August 1985 and delivered locally to Bracknell before selling through BMW Park Lane, this is a highly collectable, excellent example of the rare right hand drive M635 – one of just 524 right hand cars ever produced – and even if you were to buy a poor example, we believe it would cost in excess of £30,000 to reach the quality of this current car. Having purchased the BMW 17 years ago, the owner has amassed an extensive history file detailing the considerable amount of money he has been spent on refurbishing and restoring the car to its current excellent state. In 2009 a full body restoration and repaint was fulfilled by Autospray VSS in Henstridge, Somerset with full photographic evidence of the work included in the history file. In fantastic standard today, it also benefits from an original radio/cassette, Blaupunkt New York SQR83 model and all the electrics are reported to be in working order including sunroof and both front and rear windows. In 2016, with the mileage at 77,470, a full engine rebuild was undertaken by renowned specialists Munich Legends and less than 400 miles has been covered since. Recent works include a new fuel tank and ancillaries in 2019 and clutch and slave cylinder in 2018 together with a recent service this summer coupled to all the brake lines and fuel lines replaced.Garaged and used sparingly, this is a pampered example that we strongly recommend viewing. Accompanying the car is the original owner’s handbook and service book in its original wallet with the latest stamp in 2020 and the original toolkit with history detailing ownership from new. There are also many invoices, a BMW Heritage Certificate, every MoT test certificate going back to 1988 and a current MoT test certificate which expires in March 2022. The car drives extremely well and still feels quick on the open road even by today’s standards and, with just 60 currently registered in the UK and BMW classic prices soaring, this is a fabulous opportunity to snap up a seriously cool BMW M car with a stunning history.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
2001 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph ‘Last of Line’ Edition Transmission: automatic Mileage: 26903Unveiled in March 1998, the Silver Seraph replaced the Silver Spur. All Seraphs were handbuilt at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, England, which stopped making Rolls-Royce models in 2002 but continued with Bentley. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and was powered by a 5.4 litre, aluminium alloy, BMW V12 engine making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. Standard electronics included digital engine management, adaptive ride control and anti-lock brakes and, aside from the radiator grille, badges and wheels, the Rolls-Royce was externally identical to the contemporary Bentley Arnage sharing both its platform and bodyshell. Inside, the Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage were similar but quite distinct from one another. In the Seraph, the gear selector was column mounted, and the gauges followed a traditional Rolls-Royce layout; for example, without a tachometer. In both cars, the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather and glossy burr walnut veneer and featured folding picnic trays for rear passengers. The Silver Seraph Last of Line is a special edition of the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. The model was meant to mark the termination of the production of Rolls-Royces in the factory in Crewe. These cars boasted above the standard cars, special wood veneers with inlayed ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ motif, a commemorative plaque on the centre console, red RR-badges on the grille and the boot lid, ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ motif on the hub caps, chromed exterior mirrors and a subtle badge on the front fenders with the text ‘Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Crewe, England’, together with the British flag. This absolutely stunning example is offered in a combination of Sherwood Green with Barley Hide piped in navy with Wilton carpet and sheepskin over rugs. One of just 46 right hand drive Last of Line examples, this car boasts just four former owners, the first being the supplying dealer JCT 600 who had this well specified example as a demonstrator before selling it to the first owner in June 2002. The car is offered with a comprehensive service history starting with JCT 600 right through to P&A Wood and recently Silver Lady in October 2020 at 26,898 miles. Complemented by the original two umbrellas in the boot and uprated modern Bluetooth phone kit and satellite navigation, this example also comes supplied with a full book pack, original service booklet and history file. Thought to be one of the best examples available to market and signifying such a transition for Rolls-Royce, this is certainly a collector’s item – so much so that our vendor commissioned his Spirit of Ecstasy to be gold plated. A stunning example of a truly appreciating classic.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
