A CONTINENTAL PATINATED BRONZE FOUR LIGHT CANDELABRUM IN THE EMPIRE TASTE, with Classical figure finial above floral cast candle cups raised on a tapering columnar standard, part fluted and leaf-cast, the knop with three masks, raised on hipped downswept legs terminating in paw feet. Height 65cm
DEMETRE CHIPARUS (1888-1950), CHILD WITH UMBRELLA, A GILT BRONZE AND IVORY FIGURE, the face and hands in ivory, signed to the umbrella and with foundry mark Etling, Paris, mounted on an octagonal alabaster base. Overall 22cmTwo umbrella points bent. Rubbing/wear to green on the points of the umbrella. Some wear to gilding.
DEMETRE CHIPARUS (1888-1950), THE SCHOOL GIRL, A GILT BRONZE AND IVORY FIGURE, the face in ivory, signed and with nos. 4527-1, on a circular, stepped marble base. Overall 20cmHairline crack to ivory to the left of her face. Some very minor wear to the gilding. To the underside of the base, a small area may have been repaired.
