A George III rose gold and enamel gentleman's mourning ring, the rounded rectangular head swivelling to show plaited hair to one side, the reverse enamelled with the inscription 'George Mackenzie Simpson Died 22 Jan. 1809 Aged 2 Yrs. 4 Mhs.', over pierced foliate shoulders with scalloped top edge, unmarked, in (possibly) the original silk and morocco ring box for 'Nicholson Jeweller 53 Cornhill'.* Condition: Chip to white enamel to centre between 'Mackenzie' and 'Simpson'. A few fine cracks to the enamel to the left of this chip. Tiny chip to surface of glass to reverse side. No other faults. Size U.
A 19th century carved boxwood figure of a seated scholar and tiger, the seated figure, reading a book and cuddling a tiger with realistic features, the tiger with glass bead eyes, sitting on shaped hardwood base, 6½in. (16.5cm.) high without base.* Condition: In good condition, the tiger missing one tooth.
A suite of Waterford cut drinking glasses, comprising ten champagne flutes, eight red wine goblets and eight water glasses; together with other similar cut glass by other makers comprising a further set of six water glasses, five sherry glasses and four tumblers; plus a pair of Waterford brandy balloons and a Waterford wine bottle stopper. A collection of glass paperweights, comprising an Art Glass example by Steven Smyers entitled 'Northern Star', 1976; three Scotland Caithness glass examples, entitled 'Five to Midnight' designed in 1999 for the Millennium, designed by Helen MacDonald, Moondrop & Moon Crystal; a penguin and owl by Langham; two polar bears, plus another. Frank Thrower for Dartington, a graduated set of three moulded glass Daisy vases, the tallest, with part sticker, dating pieces to c.1969, measuring 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high, together with a blue glass bottle vase with daisy roundel and a Greek Key pattern vase by the same designer. (5)
An early gents Rolex manual wind wrist watch, the engine turned movement signed 'Rolex 15 Jewels Swiss Made', the 20mm. silvered Roman dial with red XII and blued steel hands, the 25mm. octagonal case stamped 'Rolex 9C Swiss W&D 813935', inscribed and dated 1919 to case back.* Condition: Winds and runs. Dial good with just very minor marks. A few scratches to glass. Lacks strap. Case has minor tool marks from opening and small acid test spot to bezel.
Two Victorian novelty vesta cases, comprising of a brass figural poodle dog, the hinged head opening to reveal compartment for match storage, the mane with striking plate, 2in. (5cm.) long; Fur covered dog head with glass eyes and big floppy ears, the plated dogs collar with push button, opening the spring loaded striking plate, 2 7/8in. (7.3cm.) long. (2) *Condition: both in very good condition, dog head striking head with wear.
English School, early 19th century - a portrait miniature of a gentleman, Sir John Elley KCB KCH KMT KSG (1764-1839), watercolour on ivory, dressed in a blue coat with black collar and white stock, 6.8 x 5.5cm., within a foliate gilt metal frame, the reverse with a bright cut sunburst beneath opaline glass, inscribed 'Sir John Elley'.
A George III silver lidded mustard pot, Peter, Ann & William Bateman, London, 1800, of cylindrical barrel form with reeded bands and scroll handle, inscribed to side 'B', the flat cover with concentric circle banding and pierced thumbpiece, opening to reveal original blue glass liner with recess for spoon, the spoon later, dated 1905; together with a George II pepper pot, hallmarks rubbed, London, 1746; and a pair of cauldron salts, weight without liners 8.5 tr.oz. (5)*Condition: The mustard spoon later with rubbed makers mark, the pot very good, one cauldron liner replaced, spoons marked sterling, pepper pot good with rubbed makers mark, overall very good.
19th century etched clear glass jug and bowl - Guernsey interest, c.1843, the glass etched with planted twin handled urns, etched inscription reads, "Mary De Garis 1843", the bowl with circular foot and measuring, 5in. (12.6cm.) diameter, the jug, 5in. (12.6cm.) high. (2)
An unusual novelty writing etui disguised as a miniature pistol / revolver, late 19th/early 20th century, the barrel disguised as a propelling pencil, the chamber enclosing a glass inkwell, the wooden handle/stock enclosing a ink pen, obtained by pulling the suspension loop. *Condition: in very good condition, with great patina.

A vintage 1970's Mdina glass 'Axe Head' vase, internal purple decoration with gold swirls and blotches, encased in green glass, the outer body with purpose made fractures, etched to base in script 'Mdina glass, 1974 together with unknown signature', of large proportions, standing, 11½in. (26.7cm.) high and 10¼in. (26cm.) wide.
An unusual French novelty miniature Sedan chair pocket watch vitrine, late 19th / early 20th century, of paper mache construction, on gold ground, embellished with delightful scenes of frolicking winged cherubs, doves and floral garlands and scroll motifs, velour trim, bevelled glass windows, ornate bow shaped door handle, the door opening to reveal a blue/purple velvet interior with gold trim a watch hanging hook, 6¾in. (17cm.) high. *Conditioon: in excellent condition, with slight corner edge wear.
A 19th century French ebonised cave a liqueur, the rectangular tantalus with brass string inlay, hinged lid with centralised brass vacant cartouche, lifting with hinged swing back front and fold back sides to reveal a removable ornate wooden tiered tray with gilt metal handle, containing four floral etched glass decanters with balloon form stoppers, (no glasses), comes with key, locking, on four bun feet, 12 7/8 x 9 7/8in. (32.7 x 25cm.), 10½in. (26.75cm.) high.
A gentleman's stainless steel Breitling Old Navitimer I automatic chronograph wristwatch, c.1991, ref. A13022, no. 18915, the 37.5mm. black circular dial with lumed Arabic numerals, silvered subsidiary hours, minutes and seconds dials and date aperture, 41mm. case with knurled rotating bezel, on original leather strap, worn, no box or papers.**Condition: Winds and runs. Strap worn. Hand from seconds dial detached and loose beneath glass. Case good with expected wear from normal use.
An unusual novelty Victorian glass glue pot, 1870s, fashioned as a champagne bottle, the gilded metal overlay forming the realistic cork and sleeve, the pull off cork top with attached brush, 4 5/8in. (11.7cm.) high. *Condition: in excellent condition, the upper sleeve slightly misshapen.
A WMF electro-plated Art Nouveau centre bowl, early 20th century, of twin handled oval form with pierced decoration, raised on four feet with shaped clear glass liner, marked to base with WMF, EP, OX, 1/0, 11½in. (29.2cm.) long.* Condition: In good condition with very light surface scratches to metal, liner very good.
A 1970s Chromecraft Saarinen Tulip dining table set, the oval smoked glass top on a flared aluminium pedestal and smoked lucite base, the six matching lucite chairs on conforming swivel pedestal bases, with original white vinyl seats, 60¼ x 46in. (153 x 117cm.), 28¾in. (73cm.) high, the chairs 35½in. (90.25cm.) top of backs. (7) * Condition: A few scratches to glass top and a 5in. deep scratch to centre of top. Some scratches and scuffs to base of table and chairs. Seats good. All six chairs have feathered stress cracks to plastic to the centre edge of backs (presumably from impact with each other when swivelled).
A rare French Champagne cork novelty travelling inkwell, early 20th century, the gilt brass cork with real cork covered lower body, the interior with glass inkwell, part sticker to base, 'SOUVENIR PARIS', 2 1/8in. (5.4cm.) high. *Condition: in excellent condition with strong spring loaded piush button opening.
A small collection of glass vases, comprising a cut crystal vase by Royal Doulton, decorated with a flourish of ribbon -like cuts; pedestal vase with engraved safari antelope, possibly by Rowland Ward; organic green and clear glass cylindrical vase, the tallest standing, 10¼in. (26.7cm.) high. (3)
A pair of attractive George V cut glass silver mounted biscuit barrels with swing handles, Henry Williamson Ltd, Birmingham, 1912, of ovoid form with star cut bases, the covers with simulated ivory knop, 6¾in. (17.2cm.) high (handles down).**Condition: One knop missing silver finial and having replaced screw fixing, otherwise good.
Two Art Deco moulded frosted glass plafonnier ceiling lights, probably Jobling, the first relief decorated with three birds around a central flower, indistinct registration number, gilt metal floral mounts, the second decorated with three roses, each measuring 13½in. (34.3cm.) diameter. (2)
A handsome Victorian silver plated three-piece travelling communion set, consisting of chalice, paten and faceted glass wine bottle, the chalice having gold gilt interior, raised on stepped pedestal foot, 2 7/8in. (7.5cm.), the cut glass faceted wine bottle, having a silver plated screw off lid, standing, 37/8in. (9.9cm.) high, the circular paten, standing on a short pedestal base, 2 3/8in. (6cm.) diameter, each having an initialled monogram in starburst design.
A WMF electro-plated Art Nouveau twin handled pedestal centrepiece bowl, early 20th century, having pierced wirework oval form on square base, raised on four ball feet, with shaped cobalt blue glass liner, marked to base WMF, EP, 1/0, 15½in. (39.4cm.) long, standing 9½in. (24.1cm.) high.* Condition: In good condition with some plate wear to raised edges etc. Bowl is bent over slightly on base. Liner very good.
Two novelty German helmet inkwells, the first in the form of a German Imperial Garde du Corps parade helmet, the second a German military pickelhaube, both with lift off finials to reveal glass inkwells, each helmet pierced with a sword, (both with replaced base plates). *Condition: Both with loose & replaced base plates, both tarnished, in good condition.
A Georgian cut glass Prussian decanter, c.1810, with triple ringed neck, petal cut shoulder and comb basal cutting, with matched star cut mushroom stopper, 23.5cm. high; together with a pair of plain blown glass bottle decanters with silver stoppers, probably Continental, late 19th century, 30cm. high; and two antique silver plated copper wine coasters. (5)
An early 18th century three pair cased repeating verge pocket watch by John Buschman of London, the movement signed '127 BUSCHMAN LONDON', with gilt pierced foliate and chased plates, Roman style pillars, striking on a bell and with silent action, fronted by a gilt Roman dial with outer Arabic five minute track and decorative chased centre, steel hands, the pierced case back with swans and female masks amidst scrolling foliage, the repoussé and pierced gold outer case chased with a scene of Juno's chariot drawn by peacocks, quartered with figures emblematic of the four continents, within a protective leather and gilt case decorated with pique work and a rope work bezel, with key, the watch 45mm. diameter, the outer case 59mm. diameter.* Condition: The watch winds and runs. The dial and cases appear to be in good condition, with no evident faults or repairs. There is a small stress crack to the one side of the top of the repeat button. Several small flakes from glass at edge where it meets the bezel. Very good overall.
An extremely rare novelty Franz Bergman cold painted frog bottle top, Austrian, late 19th century, very unusual, the frog is climbing a rope and it's head is breaking out through the bottle top, it's designed to stand on top of a clear bottle, which displays the frogs top half, but also the legs climbing the rope, the underside of lid shows the makers mark "B" within a double handled vase/urn, comes with custom made clear glass tube on wooden stand for display, 2 3/8in. (6cm.), without display. *Condition: in excellent condition, with most of it's paint.
A collection of gentleman's silver accessories, comprising a pocket hip flask by A & J Zimmermann Ltd, Birmingham, 1924; a faceted glass and silver hip flask with bayonet top, inscribed with initials, London, 1883; a matchbox cover by Charles S Green & Co Ltd, Birmingham, 1905, profusely embossed with swags, raised on ball feet; a genie's lamp table lighter with snake loop handle, London, 1908; an engine turned cigarette case, inscribed with initials, Steele & Dolphin Ltd, Chester, 1945; and a Continental white metal vesta case, fashioned as a love heart with gilt crown finial, weight of silver elements 20 tr.oz. A Japanese bone and boxwood okimono of a toad, early 20th century, the large, carved boxwood toad with bone and glass eyes, sat atop a polished bone column engraved with various flying insects and a leaping frog above a pond, the bone column with pull off base revealing a cylindrical tube for storage, signed to base, 7 1/8in. (18cm.) high.* Condition: The toad with indent/graze to upper lip, otherwise very good with no faults.
