Silver and guilloche enamelled dressing table set, maker HCD, Birmingham 1938-50, decorated with chrysanthemum sprays against a champagne ground, comprising cut glass perfume flask, cut glass powder jar, oval ring box, hand mirror, two hairbrushes, and two clothes brushes (8)

Late Victorian mahogany secretaire bookcase, circa 1870-1885, moulded pediment over two plain panelled glass doors opening to three adjustable shelves, the base with pull-down carved fronted top drawer with fitted interior with drawers and pigeon holes faced with maple, over two carved foliate panel cupboard doors beneath opening to a single shelf, raised on plinth base, width 48ins, height 91ins.
Art Nouveau mahogany salon cabinet, circa 1905, the back with a rectangular bevelled glass mirror flanked on either side with leaded glass door display cabinets each with two shelves, raised on turned pillars over a base fitted with two central drawers and a pull down cupboard door and flanked on either side with a further drawer and carved stylised tulip panelled cupboard doors, all with tulip shaped pressed brass handles raised on bracket feet, width 64ins, height 85ins.

The Bank of England Act, and a further Act for founding a "National Land Bank". The Bank was founded in 1694 as a device for securing a government loan of #1,500.000. Its successful flotation institutionalised the national debt. (2)
