Speed Graphic camera, flash system, numerous filters, sheet film.Graflex was synonymous with large format, highly capable, and very portable- for their time- press and battlefield cameras in the first half of the 20th century. The Speed Graphic is a fine example of the sort of professional-grade field cameras that made the company famous- a massive curtain shutter that swings across large slices of film- fitted with a ground glass focusing screen, slots for sheet or pack film, rangefinder, dual shutters, and numerous features. This large set includes several classic accessories and tools- a flash gun and flash cables, reflex and quick release bracket, over a dozen Tiffen and Kodak lens filters, many in box and all in cases, mechanical long exposure timer, 3 original boxes of Ektachrome film (may contain film), one box of Kodak Super XX film (may contain film), and a sealed box of Verichrome sheet film. Several original manuals and guides abound- and 2 sheet holders along with a pack film adapter are also included. A splendid array for the collector of classic cameras and technology. And while all cameras from Whitleys Auctioneers are sold as is unless otherwise, it is observed that both the front and rear shutter releases fire, and the cloth rear shutter winds and releases.
