MASONIC INTEREST; three early 19th century pearl ware jugs, the largest example with pink rose decorated border above the initials 'JB' and then painted with various Masonic devices and emblems, height 25cm, a slightly smaller example inscribed 'The bricklayers success attends and all that is Old England's friends, John & Matty Bradbury 1812' with twin Masonic vignettes, height 20.5cm and a third jug painted with flowers opposing Masonic emblems and inscribed 'George Smith 1827; height 27cm (all badly af) (3).Additional InformationThe larger jug is very poor condition, staple repair, crack throughout. The smaller jug has also been badly damaged, a large section around the neck has been broken and repaired, chips throughout, heavy scuffs to the glaze. The George Smith example is in very poor condition, sections missing, the entire rim has been damaged, broken and glue repaired as has the handle, chips around the base and surface rubbing throughout.
