A Ladies Open Faced Keyless Pocket Watch, 18ct gold case, 38mm diameter, 18ct gold duct cover, white enamelled dial with Roman black baton numerals, total gross weight 48.2gWe can confirm that the inner dust cover is indeed 18ct gold. Externally the watch presents in condition commensurate with age and moderate usage. There are some light marks and age-related marks to the glass. The rear case has got some dents in general, again slight dents through age and usage. The white enamel dial appears to be in good order. The black Roman numerals are clear and concise. The hands appear to be original. The watch winds runs and sets but should be regarded as untested.
A Lady's Keyless Open Faced Pocket Watch, Early 20th Century, 18ct gold case, 34mm diameter, chased with foliate work and clear cartouche to the rear, gold dial with floral decoration, black Roman baton numerals, 18ct gold dust cover, total gross weight 27.3gA very nice example of this particular watch. The inner dust cover is 18ct gold and marked as such, and free from any kind of inscription. Externally the glass is in good condition showing slight marks commensurate with age and moderate usage. The dial has two scratches at the 1 o'clock and 2 o'clock position. Other than that it appears to be free from any damage. The black Roman numerals are clear and concise. The hands appear original and the engraving to the case is in good condition. The watch winds, runs and sets but should be regarded as untested.
