An Elvis Presley commissioned calligraphy artwork of a Theodore Roosevelt quote. The quote is from a speech titled "Citizenship in a Republic" given by Roosevelt at the Sorbonne in 1910. The quote is titled "The Man Who Counts" and was transcribed into calligraphy by Presley family friend Janelle McComb. The artwork, housed in a frame, hung in Presley's Graceland office and is seen in the film This is Elvis (Warner Bros., 1981). Accompanied by two letters of authenticity from the estate of Vernon Presley, a printed excerpt from the book Graceland that mentions this piece of art, and a copy of the film.
