A bass Balalaika by Zimmerman, Leipzig, circa 1920 Branded on the head, Jul.Heinr Zimmermann, Leipzig and further labelled `Jul Heinr Zimmermann, Leipzig No.` The fretboard with 16 nickel frets to the body, with pearl inlay dots on the fingerboard. Overall Length 99.4 cm, width of body at bottom, 60.5cm, Condition: The table with several cracks stemming from the edge and in the bridge area. Some of the staves in need of regluing on the back.
