George Nicholls served in the R W Fusiliers under number 56205, also the South Wales Borderers under 45295. The son of Mr Nicholls of 11 Raynham Rd, Hammersmith, London. The husband of Grace L Nicholls of 40 Station rd, Hammersmith, London. Killed In Action on Sunday 25/11/1917 aged 27, he is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. Entitled to a pair only, issued in 1922. With the medal slip stating R W Fus, and a grave scroll with newspaper details inset.

Another with N S Y, also a school sports medal in bronze D W Grant 1st XV 1910-11 with 'Bridgend County School Atheletic Sports' obverse. Donald William Grant served in France from 30/5/1915, shown as Disembodied on his MIC. Also served under Number 165310 in the NSY.

A MILITARY MEDAL & PAIR TO THE MACHINE GUN CORPS. A George V issue Military Medal named to 9501 Pte S Penny, 40/MGC. British War & Victory Medals named to 9501 Pte S T Penny M.G.C. Sidney Thomas Penny served originally in the Royal Welsh Fusiliers, under number 21123. His Military Medal was gazetted on page 10131, Gazette 30873 on the 27th August 1918. His address was given as Peory. All three are in as unworn condition on original ribbons. He was wounded in the Face (Gunshot) on the 21st October 1918, whilst serving in the 36th Battalion, 36th Division. Having some 4 years total service, with some 3 years with the Field Force. Aged 25 years he was admitted to the 110th Field Ambulance Hospital, from number 28 Ambulance Train on that same day. Religion given as C of England.

(Kings Letter enclosed) 1914/15 Star and Bwm & Victory medal issue slips, named to Rifleman H Dommett. Both sent to Mr J Dommett. Medal envelope addressed to Mr J Dommett, 70 Gresham Rd, Staines. Imperial War Graves Commission stating his Grave Position as Caberet Rouse Brit Cemetery Soushez. With an original photograph of the grave and the then wooden cross. The son of James and Martha Dommett of 70 Gresham Rd, Staines. Aged 25 he was Killed in Action 04/05/1916. (WG details states died) Later spelling shows Rouge and Souchez, Pas de Calais.

The National University of Ireland Veritati and Fir Fer , also the date MDCCCCV111 below. The reverse has The Dr & Mrs W A Browne medal for colloquial knowledge of French & German. A FRANCIS & MARIA THERESA 1757 BRONZE MEDALLION. 58mm diameter with Franciscvs Avg Maria Theresa Avg and facing busts obverse, MDCCXV11 below. The reverse with 13 busts of among other siblings Joseph 11 her son, a future Holy Roman Emperor. A daughter was the future Queen of France, Marie Antoinette. Her beloved husband Francis Stephen of Lorraine, died in 1765. The legend Foecvnditas Avgvstorum Patriae Felicitas and the date MDCCLV1111, is on the reverse.
