Istvan Komaromy Glass Figure of a Foal, raised on a green marble plinth bearing label, to lower right. Note: Istvan Komaromy was a German born Hungarian whose family glassworks in Budapest continues to produce art glass to this day. In the early 20th Century he settled in England where he opened a studio and produced beautiful examples of glass figurines, he taught at the London Slade School and in Wimbledon.
