The vendor was backstage and talked to Paul Simonon for a while. Paul took the vendor's address and this led to him sending the promo single offered here. Earlier in the day the vendor had met The Voidoids' road manager and helped him obtain some drumskins from a local music shop; this resulted in the vendor being given a pass. The vendor knew the drummer, Steven Daly, and was invited to join the band as a bassist. This chart was written out by Collins so the vendor could learn the bass lines prior to rehearsals; the vendor attended two such sessions before being replaced.
