A Brannam Barum earthenware vase, decorated birds and foliage and having angular handles, incised and dated 1900, 31 cm high, and another similar, decorated fish, incised and dated 1900 (handles repaired), 30.5 cm high (2) See illustration Condition report Report by NG Birds: all over crazing. Chip to outside rim of neck. Firing cracks around top of both handles. A couple of other firing cracks in handles. Some rubbing and surface scratches. The base marked C H Brannam Barum 1900, and initials J D (?), incised Rd 44561 around foot. Fish: one handle has been broken and repaired. Several areas of glaze loss, with white body showing through. All over crazing. Surface scratches and rubbing. Base incised C H Brannam Barum 1900 and initialled J D (?) incised Rd 44561 around foot.
