Benson, London, with circular white enamel dial, luminous paint to the Arabic numerals and hands, recessed subsidiary seconds & Swiss Made at 6. Coin-rimmed/milled gold bezel in circular gold 35mm diameter case with 15 Jewel Swiss movement and solid gold screw-down back stamped with Glasgow import hallmarks for 1927 (hallmarks in the image are Glasgow Assay Office (two opposed and prone letters "F")). Many watchmaker inscriptions inside back indicating that the watch has been very well maintained. Jumbo size 35mm diameter excl. crown, 37mm with. Clean crystal. Period Hirsch brown leather strap. Fully working at the auction.
