Registration – KXZ 336 Chassis No. – JKBZXT40HHA004277 M.O.T. – May 2025 Odometer – 3226 The Kawasaki ZZR1400 inhabits a rarified sector of the motorcycle market. What some might refer to as a hyperbike, the ZZR1400 only really had the Suzuki Hayabusa as direct competition when it was launched in 2012. It also hit the road at that time as the fastest production bike available. ‘KXZ336’ is a fine example of this exalted breed and being from 2017, it is post the models’ last major update. With just two owners to date and a trifling 3,226 miles troubling the odometer, ‘KXZ336’ represents an enticing ownership prospect. ‘KXZ336’ is offered with a valid advisory free MOT valid until May 2025. Given ‘KXZ336’s’ low mileage and low owner count, it presents in a great overall condition. ‘KXZ336’ is finished predominantly in black with accents accents of Kawasaki green streaking across its flanks. Given the ZZR’s mechanical prowess this is clearly a machine designed to cover large distances at high speeds. The forward biased riding position allows the rider to benefit from the protection of the Perspex screen to help minimise fatigue. The huge matt black silencers and alloy wheels that are barely visible behind the huge, petal discs mark this out as something special. A semi-soft Oxford top box is also fitted and included. Of course, the heart of ‘KXZ336’ is clearly that extraordinary 1441cc, inline four cylinder, 16-valve engine. At launch Motorcycle News described this engine as “one of the finest you’ll find on any motorcycle.” You can see why when you learn that its 200bhp and 119Ib-ft of torque was good for a (limited!) 186mph and a 10-second quarter mile time. This prodigious power is kept in check with a three-way traction control, on the move selectable riding modes and ABS. Despite this exalted specification the ZZR is considered to be surprisingly docile and manageable when you need it to be making it a quite extraordinary machine in all respects. In summary: · A low mileage, low owner example of the king of hyperbikes · Presenting in a fine overall condition with an eye catching livery · Complete with a valid, advisory free MOT
Registration – YA63 KGG Chassis No. – MLHPC44B9D5003638 M.O.T. – NO Odometer – 10,126 The Honda CBR500R and its siblings, the fairing free CB500F and adventure bike styled CB500X were launched in 2013 to take advantage of the then new A2 license regulations. This limits output to 47bhp and top speed to 112mph. ‘YA63KGG’ represents the sports tourer of the trio with a bright sporting livery and a fully faired in presentation. The current owner acquired ‘YA63KGG’ in September 2023 to become its seventh keeper and covering around 2,000 miles in his tenure to bring the total to a shade over 10,000 miles. ‘YA63KGG’s advisory free MOT expired in February 2025 so a retest will be required before road use. Despite the restrictions required for A2 eligibility, the CBR500R is noted for its impressively sporty dynamics and modest running costs. ‘YA63KGG’ is offered here with NO RESERVE and boasts a partial service history with independent specialists. In January 2013, new A2 motorcycle license conditions were introduced allowing for the introduction of models with a power output of no more than 47bhp to be ridden by those over 19. Honda introduced their new trio of 500cc models to specifically cater for this niche and ‘YA63KGG’ is from that stable. Being a CBR500R iteration is boasts an impressively sporty demeanour with a crisp red, white and blue livery applied to a rakish full fairing and associated bodywork. The dainty, black alloy wheels combine with black finished engine parts and matt trim pieces. It’s a great looking bike with a low rider saddle height and a higher mounted, occasional pinion perch. ‘YA63KGG’s’ bodywork is vendor rated as “average” with the paintwork and rider environment judged as “good.” ‘YA63KGG’s’ liquid-cooled, DOHC, 8v, parallel twin, engine delivers that A2 specific 47 bhp and power is routed to the rear wheel via a six speed manual gearbox. The engine is considered as a torquey and rev-hungry unit that can deliver plenty of thrills despite its modest output. The vendor reports that ‘YA63KGG’ is “mechanically sound with engine, transmission and electrics all rated as “good.” In summary: · Compatible with use on an A2 license. · A light, lithe and sporty looking all-rounder. · Complete with a partial service history and a sensible original mileage.
