Lot 738

From the private collection of legendary British racing driver Steve Soper, this genuinely original Elan Sprint is simply the best we have ever seen. One of the most original Lotus Elans that we have ever seen This lovely Elan Sprint was supplied new on 27/01/1972 and has one of the most comprehensive history files that we have ever seen With a warranted mileage of just 21,886 Featured in a four-page spread of 'Classic Cars' magazine Offered directly from legendary British racing driver, Steve Soper The glass fibre-bodied Elan may only have been available initially as a Roadster Kit but its specification was very advanced and adhered to Chapman's “just add lightness” engineering philosophy. Power came from Harry Mundy's Ford-based Lotus 1558cc DOHC engine, it was fitted with disc brakes all round, and the independent suspension was set up to optimise ride quality and handling finesse, qualities for which this little car is still admired. It soon sired other derivatives including the Type 26R racer, the Type 36 fixed-head coupe, the Type 45 drop-head coupe, and the Type 50 Elan +2 of 1967.  The 1971 Elan Sprint was essentially based on the Series 4 Elan bodyshell and was primarily designed to rekindle demand and improve the performance of the nine-year-old sports car. Conceived by Lotus Sales Director, Graham Arnold, the Sprint's most notable external feature was the horizontally split two-tone paintwork in half a dozen vibrant colours. Meanwhile, providing the 'go to match the show' a new big-valve cylinder head with high-lift cams and a raised compression ratio, the work of Engineering Director Tony Rudd, provided a 25% increase in power to 126bhp. The drivetrain was suitably toughened and braced and the front callipers were redesigned to cope with the increased performance which was brisk for the time with 60mph arriving in 6.6 seconds,100mph in 19 seconds and a top speed of 123mph. This lovely Elan Sprint was supplied new on 27/01/1972 to a Mr Marcantono of Newcastle upon Tyne in kit form; the car costing £972 and the engine/transmission costing £795. Both invoices are in one of the most comprehensive history files that we have ever seen. There are literally dozens and dozens of invoices (mostly from Midland’s renowned specialist, Paul Matty), old MOTs, CDs containing many pictures and a completed record of all purchases during the car’s life. Unusually for an Elan, this allows us to warrant the mileage of just 21,886 as genuine. It's one of the most original Lotus Elans that we have ever seen. In June 2014, ‘Classic Cars’ magazine thought so too as they featured this particular car in a four-page spread. The magazine article, which waxes lyrical about the superb originality of this car, is included within the astonishing history file. The condition of the car is also outstanding with the best door gaps and overall panel fitment of any Elan ever seen by us. All original tools, jack and service books/handbook are present and just 4 owners shown from new on the V5C; all of them keeping this car for extended periods and clearly enjoying the experience. They say the best is never the cheapest. This Elan Sprint drop head convertible is simply the best we have ever seen and represents a fantastic investment opportunity with outstanding provenance, from known ownership and in a completely ready-to-use condition. Spring is here, classic events are beckoning – let’s go! Our Vendor  Steve Soper Steve Soper is one the most successful and legendary British drivers of all time and Silverstone Auctions is proud to offer his very special Elan Sprint for sale at our May Sale. He spent 20 years looking for the best Elan before purchasing this exceedingly special car for his own collection. Steve is one of the greatest all round drivers in the history of British motorsport. Not only one of the greatest saloon drivers of all time, but a man who competed five times at Le Mans, four times at the Bathurst 1000, three times in the World Super Tourers, twice in the Japanese Touring Car Championship, for six years in the German Touring Car Championship and eleven years in the British Touring Car Championship. His major wins have included the Nurburgring 24 Hours, the Spa 24 Hours, the Guia race and countless individual Touring Car races across the globe. Works drives were mostly with his beloved BMW and in their world dominating M3 Touring Cars, but other notable manufacturer' drives have included McLaren, Rover, Ford, Peugeot, Mazda and BMW at Le Mans. He is simply outstanding in a car and has continued to be so since his professional career ended, with many recent successes and race victories in historic racing around the world. We rate him as one of the best all-rounders of all-time and wish him continued success on the track and with all his exploits.SpecificationMake: LOTUSModel: ELAN SPIRIT CONVERTIBLEYear: 1972Chassis Number: 05809Registration Number: JVK 49LTransmission: ManualEngine Number: N25903Drive Side: Right-hand DriveOdometer Reading: 21880 MilesMake: RHDClick here for more details and images

In present ownership since 1971, a rare LHD example1961 AC Ace 2.6-Litre RoadsterRegistration no. 661 CGTChassis no. RSX 5006To view a video of this lot please click here*Original left-hand drive model*Known ownership history from new*Present ownership since 1971*Professionally restored in the 2000s*Enthusiastically campaignedFootnotes:'There is no doubt that the 2.6 Ace now lowered with restyled bodywork is the fastest production model ever produced by the AC Company, and maximum speeds in the 125mph range may be expected, with acceleration to match.' – AC Cars Ltd.Powered at first by AC's venerable long-stroke six and then the BMW-derived Bristol engine, the Ace was made available towards the end of production with the 2.6-litre overhead-valve Ford Zephyr engine installed. The first cars were converted by Ken Rudd of Ruddspeed before the factory took over. A 12-port aluminium-alloy cylinder head, developed by Raymond Mays of ERA and BRM fame, was usually fitted together with other internal modifications, in which form the Zephyr-derived unit produced 155bhp on triple SU carburettors and up to 170 horsepower on triple Webers. Only 36 examples of the Ford-powered Ace 2.6 were made, making it by far the rarest of the three engine types offered. Owned by the current vendor since 1971, this rare left-hand drive AC Ace 2.6 is the sixth example of the 36 production models built. Three people are known to have owned 'RSX 5006' during its first decade. It was purchased new in December 1961 by Mr A J Schwartz, a Paris resident with connections in Monaco, as an 18th birthday present for his son, Patrick. The son did not keep it very long, for by early 1964 it was advertised on the noticeboard in the recreation area at SHAFE in Paris. It is not known why this medium was chosen: perhaps Mr Schwartz had connections to the US military. Peter Napier, an Englishman working in Paris for Boeing, noticed the advertisement and bought the AC. A photograph on file, taken on the banks of the Seine around 1964, shows Peter behind the car. Peter Napier kept the Ace for several years, eventually selling it to a friend, Robert Seidman, an American writer who at that time was working in France. Robert moved to the UK in 1969 and brought the car with him, selling it to the current owner for £700 in August 1971 when he decided to return to the USA. With various problems needing to be fixed, and no time to carry out the work required, the owner took the Ace off the road in May 1975. A partial rear end rebuild was carried out over the next two years, and the car then remained in storage for the next 29 years while family life, business commitments and three house renovations took precedence. Between 1994 and 2006, the Ace was restored, the engine being rebuilt by Tony Steele and almost all other aspects of the renovation entrusted to internationally renowned marque specialist, David Sanderson. The engine was rebuilt to Stage IV tune with a Ruddspeed alloy cylinder head by Burton Power; triple Weber 40DCOE carburettors; Arias forged pistons; Carillo con-rods; stiffened main bearings; lightweight pushrods; and a Kent A14 'fast road' camshaft. The rear chassis was stiffened by incorporating Cobra box-section outriggers, while many original factory options incorporated at time of rebuild include a curved windscreen; 15' wheels; overdrive; alloy fuel tank; and a duplicate fuel system. Modern upgrades (all easily removable, no holes in bodywork) include a pre-engaged starter motor; 123 electronic ignition; LED headlight bulbs; and amber indictor bulbs. Most of the parts that were replaced in this process come with the car. Despite not being in a particularly high state of tune when manufactured, the Ace was specified with a factory roll bar. This is not fitted at present but would be supplied with the car (it simply bolts in). (The original cast-iron head complete with triple SUs and a Barwell manifold is available by separate negotiation with the vendor). '661 CGT' at last returned to the road on 10th June 2006, just in time for the AC Owners Club's annual concours on the following day when it won 2nd prize in the Ace class. Since then the Ace has been enthusiastically campaigned through the UK and Europe, commencing on 13th June 2006 with a Continental tour taking in Le Mans on the way to Monaco in an attempt, sadly unsuccessful, to make contact with the first owner's family. Italy, Spain and Portugal were visited in turn before the Ace arrived back home seven weeks later having covered 4,231 miles. Since then there have been trips to Ireland (2007), the Le Mans Classic (2010) and Scotland (2011), while that same year '661 CGT' also attended the Ace 2.6 50th Anniversary gathering at Stourhead, Wiltshire. The Ace served as the owner's wedding car when he married in 2013, and in June/July 2015 successfully completed an Arctic Circle trip taking in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway via the Netherlands and Germany. In total, some 43,000 kilometres (approximately 27,600 miles) have been covered since the restoration's completion in 2006. The owner describes the Ace's condition as generally very good, the only minor 'niggles' being poor synchromesh on the Moss box's 2nd gear, and a non-functioning electric clock. In the vendor's own words: 'The car is in very fine order, but is not perfect. This is a working road car, to be used and enjoyed.'The history file contains the original bill of sale; the owner's bill of sale; all invoices from 1971 onwards; and some correspondence with AC Cars which predates the current ownership. In addition, the Ace also comes with a manufacturer's handbook and brochure; a genuine Ford workshop manual for the engine; and press cuttings, magazines, and souvenirs of the (admittedly minor) competitive events it undertook in the vendor's hands. There is also full weather equipment: hood, tonneau cover and dash-top tonneau (to prevent reflections from the white paint at night). The Ace's history with the current owner is detailed in a delightful illustrated presentation folder containing numerous fascinating colour photographs, including of the car in competition in the 1970s at Wiscombe Park and Silverstone (perusal essential). Boasting known ownership from new and long-term enthusiast stewardship for the last five decades, this rare '2.6' has to be one of the best Aces currently available. For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

2000 BMW Z8 Roadster with HardtopRegistration no. X919 FAJChassis no. WBAEJ11010AF77766*Rare and exclusive limited edition model*Supplied new in the UK*circa 47,000 miles from new*Comprehensive service and MoT historyFootnotes:In recent times many motor manufacturers, particularly those with a significant sporting heritage, have felt the need to reference iconic models from the past when launching their latest. BMW has proved adept at exploiting this 'retro' trend, commencing in 1996 with the Z3 coupé and convertible, the styling of which brilliantly recalled its fabulous '328' sports car of pre-war days. Its next effort along similar lines - the 'Z07' concept car of 1997 - took its inspiration from the post-war Alfred Goetz-designed '507', a luxurious limited edition roadster. The sensation of the 1997 Tokyo Auto Show, the Z07 was received so enthusiastically that BMW took the decision to press ahead with a production version: the Z8. For the most part the Z8 remained remarkably faithful to the original concept, retaining the 507-like twin-nostril front grille and distinctive front-wing vents. A period-style interior had been one of the Z07's most remarked upon features, and that too made it into the Z8.The Z8's body panelling and spaceframe chassis were fabricated in lightweight and corrosion resistant aluminium, while the 32-valve 4,941cc V8 engine, shared with the M5 saloon, was built by BMW's Motorsport division. With 400bhp on tap, the Z8 raced to 100km/h (62mph) in 4.7 seconds and only the built-in rev limiter stopped it from exceeding 250km/h (155mph). Power reached the run-flat tyres via a Getrag six-speed manual gearbox. Needless to say, the Z8 also came with all the modern appurtenances one would expect of a flagship model: traction control, stability control, front and side air bags, GPS navigation, climate control and power operation of the seats, steering wheel and convertible hood all being included in the package. The fact that the Z8 was a low-volume model assembled, for the most part, by hand, enabled BMW to offer customers considerable freedom in personalising their cars. Further enhancing its appeal to collectors, the factory announced that a 50-year stockpile of Z8 parts would be maintained. Despite a (US) launch price of over $128,000, initial demand was so high that a bidding war broke out, with many Z8s selling for well in excess of that figure. By the time production ceased in 2003, 5,703 of these fabulous cars had been built. Supplied new in the UK by Preston Hall BMW, this stunning Z8 Roadster has covered only 47,330 miles from new and comes with comprehensive service history and MoT certificates verifying the mileage. The most recent service was carried out by Sytner, Chigwell in November 2019, since when the car has covered fewer than 100 miles. Finished in silver metallic with red/black leather interior, this superb Z8 comes complete with book pack, leather wallet, two keys, V5C document and MoT to January 2022. A true collectors' BMW.For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com

2004 BMW M3 Convertible Transmission: manual Mileage: 99807The E46 BMW M3 was previewed at the German Motor Show in 1999 as a concept, although the actual car when manufactured bore a very close resemblance when it was introduced in October 2000. Only available as coupé or convertible the M3 was offered with a five-speed Getrag gearbox or a SMG drive logic transmission. The E46 M3 was full of electronic gadgetry, which included driver aids such as dynamic stability control, cornering brake control and a limited slip differential. With a reported top speed of 155mph and 0-60mph in 5.1 seconds, the M3 certainly lived up to its name and did not disappoint!Originally registered on 25th June 2004 this BMW presents in good order throughout. The silver paintwork is virtually unmarked and the grey leather interior is also in good order. The black hood is new and has hardly been used. The engine started immediately when requested and sounded very much ‘on-song’, clearly this E46 has been very well cared for. Fitted with the desirable manual gearbox, this M3 convertible is a great car to drive. Supplied with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 23rd March 2022 and offered without reserve, this high specification BMW could well be one for the future. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

2017 BMW AC Schnitzer ACL2S Transmission: automatic Mileage: 7173AC Schnitzer, a tuning company based in Aachen, Germany was founded in 1987 by Willi Kohl and Herbert Schnitzer. Its range includes tuning for BMW vehicles and the Mini and Land Rover makes, and also has a motorcycle arm. The firm has roots with Schnitzer Motorsport but is an independent company both commercially and legally and part of the Kohl Group.Historics are pleased to offer the very first AC Schnitzer ACL2S Car - number one of only 30 made - to celebrate AC Schnitzer's 30th anniversary. Based on a left hand drive BMW M240i xDrive and built at AC Schnitzer Germany, this car has numerous special features and was an award winner at the Essen Motor Show; it was also the launch car at the Geneva International Motor Show of the same year on the AC Schnitzer stand, winning another award. Used by AC Schnitzer as their press/show car and demonstrator, it was built as a custom car to win just such awards that it successfully did in 2017. The car still boasts its German AC Schnitzer number plates which were purchased with the car and the AC Schnitzer green show plates are also included. This vehicle was purchased direct from the stand of AC Schnitzer at the Essen Motor show, with an original build cost circa £120,000 euros by our vendor, the only registered keeper, and proprietor of a small and significant collection of motorcars. The ACL2S specification includes M240i xDrive with upgraded intercooler and a performance upgrade to 400hp. Boasting engine optic, quad sports exhaust system with black ceramic tailpipes, RS suspension individually adjustable for ride height, compression damping and rebound damping, 19 type VIII forged alloy wheels, 8.5J front and 9.5J rear in special bicolour finish with Michelin tyres, 10 piece ACL2S wide bodykit, carbon fibre front spoiler elements, lower front splitter, carbon fibre canard set and mirror covers with side skirts with carbon fibre winglets, carbon fibre racing wing with gurney strip, carbon fibre rear canards and rear diffuser and roof spoiler. The interior features painted panels, five pieces of which are part of the custom show car and not standard finish with ACL2S badge in stainless steel with laser-etched logo, AC Schnitzer steering wheel, alloy pedal set and footrest, luxury velour floor mats with AC Schnitzer embroidered logo, AC Schnitzer handbrake handle, AC Schnitzer iDrive cover, Recaro Sportster CS front seats with added seat heating at an extra cost and interior retrimmed in Racing Green and black leather with ACL2S branding.Repainted in matt Metallic Racing Green and serviced by BMW Barons less Than 1,000 miles ago the car is traffic - and heart - stopping and reportedly performs like a ballistic missile, making an M car look and feel entry level. That the ACL2S is an exceptional vehicle was also confirmed by the readers of ‘Auto Bild Sportscars’ being awarded the title ‘Sportscar of the Year 2017’ in the small and compact car class.Looking great, this car is UK registered and was serviced by BMW barons less than 1000 miles ago and has been used sparingly since. 1973 BMW 3.0 CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 44632 In 1968, BMW introduced a new two-door coupé that was designed and built by Karman. This new model was named internally as the E9 and the first version produced was named the 2800 CS, it featured an increased wheelbase to accommodate a new straight-six engine. The front of the car was restyled to resemble the E3 saloon model otherwise known as the 'shark nose'. Production of the E9 would run until 1975. During this time the 2800 CS was replaced by the 3.0 CS and 3.0 CSi in 1971. Performance of the 3.0 CSi compared well with its contemporaries, such as the E-Type Jaguar and the Ford Capri 3.0 but at over £5,500 it was a third more expensive than the Jaguar. Partly due to this formidable price, only 207 of this model were registered in the UK between November 1973 and November 1975. It was arguably the most advanced car for its time with standard Bosch K Tronic injection supplying fuel to the six-cylinder overhead cam engine, power steering, disc brakes all round and electronic windows front and rear. This stunning example of BMW’s Pillarless Coupé was UK registered on 7th May 1975 and is thought to be one of the first in the UK market. The vendor purchased this car in 2014 and almost immediately set about a considerable restoration project. The works started with an engine rebuild at Cotswold Cars. The car was then handed to restoration specialist, Justin Simmons at Pinkneys Green, Maidenhead for a comprehensive four-year restoration, costing over £100,000. The history file for KKJ 952N contains all invoices for the impressive amount of work undertaken. All the parts and panels used were either purchased from E9 specialists, Jaymic Ltd in the UK or Wallothnesch in Germany for original BMW classic parts. The file also contains a full photographic history of the works completed, from the bare metal respray to the fine example we see today. This fantastic example benefits from the addition of a stainless steel exhaust, a City Pack original spoiler, a Momo black leather steering wheel, new tyres throughout and has recently been retrimmed. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and, although exempt, a new MoT test certificate. This wonderful example is reserved at a fraction of the current investment level of the vendor.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.

1993 BMW 850Ci Transmission: automatic Mileage: 138216Design of the 8 Series began in 1984 with the final design phase and production development in 1986. It debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show in early September 1989 and was designed to move beyond the market of the original 6 Series. The 8 Series however had substantially improved performance as well as a far higher purchase price. Over 1.5 billion Deutsche Marks were spent on development; BMW used CAD tools, still unusual at the time, to design the car's all-new body. Combined with wind tunnel testing, the resulting car had a drag coefficient of 0.29 and offered the first V12 engine mated to a six-speed manual gearbox on a road car. It was also one of the first vehicles to be fitted with an electronic 'drive-by-wire' throttle. This BMW 850Ci is a well presented example offered in a desirable colour combination. Both the paintwork and interior are in very good order and the car comes complete with a history file containing the current MoT test certificate and the UK V5C registration document. Recently treated to a an extensive respray the BMW looks wonderful. A commanding 90's sports car representing great value especially with the prices for modern classic V12's ever increasing.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 187

1985 BMW M635CSi Transmission: manual Mileage: 77849The BMW M635CSi was the brainchild of BMW’s Motorsport department and arrived to the market in 1984. Karmann manufactured the early 6 Series BMWs from launch in 1976 before BMW took production in-house. The engine was a development of the M1 supercar's 3453cc, 24 valve, six cylinder unit producing 286bhp, the increased power necessitating chassis improvements which included altered weight distribution, revised suspension, larger brakes and a limited slip differential. There was also a close ratio five-speed gearbox (or four speed multi-mode auto) and a more luxurious interior, while outwardly this ultimate 6 Series model was readily distinguishable by virtue of its 'M Technic' bodykit. Performance was impressive with the M635CSi capable of reaching 0-62mph in around six seconds on its way to a top speed in excess of 155mph.This fabulous, very rare, early chrome bumper, matching numbers M88 powered manual gearbox 'Shark' comes from a private BMW Car Club member and enthusiast and is a car well known in the Club having been seen at many Club Shows and notably was on the club stand at the NEC Classic Car Show. Presented in probably the best colour combination of Cosmos Blau with Pacific Blue interior with a factory fitted Mtec body kit. In fabulous condition throughout, it sits on period uprated alloy wheels housing uprated 8 Series brakes (original wheels also supplied) and boasting a limited slip differential. Originally registered on 1st August 1985 and delivered locally to Bracknell before selling through BMW Park Lane, this is a highly collectable, excellent example of the rare right hand drive M635 – one of just 524 right hand cars ever produced – and even if you were to buy a poor example, we believe it would cost in excess of £30,000 to reach the quality of this current car. Having purchased the BMW 17 years ago, the owner has amassed an extensive history file detailing the considerable amount of money he has been spent on refurbishing and restoring the car to its current excellent state. In 2009 a full body restoration and repaint was fulfilled by Autospray VSS in Henstridge, Somerset with full photographic evidence of the work included in the history file. In fantastic standard today, it also benefits from an original radio/cassette, Blaupunkt New York SQR83 model and all the electrics are reported to be in working order including sunroof and both front and rear windows. In 2016, with the mileage at 77,470, a full engine rebuild was undertaken by renowned specialists Munich Legends and less than 400 miles has been covered since. Recent works include a new fuel tank and ancillaries in 2019 and clutch and slave cylinder in 2018 together with a recent service this summer coupled to all the brake lines and fuel lines replaced.Garaged and used sparingly, this is a pampered example that we strongly recommend viewing. Accompanying the car is the original owner’s handbook and service book in its original wallet with the latest stamp in 2020 and the original toolkit with history detailing ownership from new. There are also many invoices, a BMW Heritage Certificate, every MoT test certificate going back to 1988 and a current MoT test certificate which expires in March 2022. The car drives extremely well and still feels quick on the open road even by today’s standards and, with just 60 currently registered in the UK and BMW classic prices soaring, this is a fabulous opportunity to snap up a seriously cool BMW M car with a stunning history.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Lot 230

2001 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph ‘Last of Line’ Edition Transmission: automatic Mileage: 26903Unveiled in March 1998, the Silver Seraph replaced the Silver Spur. All Seraphs were handbuilt at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, England, which stopped making Rolls-Royce models in 2002 but continued with Bentley. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and was powered by a 5.4 litre, aluminium alloy, BMW V12 engine making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. Standard electronics included digital engine management, adaptive ride control and anti-lock brakes and, aside from the radiator grille, badges and wheels, the Rolls-Royce was externally identical to the contemporary Bentley Arnage sharing both its platform and bodyshell. Inside, the Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage were similar but quite distinct from one another. In the Seraph, the gear selector was column mounted, and the gauges followed a traditional Rolls-Royce layout; for example, without a tachometer. In both cars, the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather and glossy burr walnut veneer and featured folding picnic trays for rear passengers. The Silver Seraph Last of Line is a special edition of the Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. The model was meant to mark the termination of the production of Rolls-Royces in the factory in Crewe. These cars boasted above the standard cars, special wood veneers with inlayed ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ motif, a commemorative plaque on the centre console, red RR-badges on the grille and the boot lid, ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ motif on the hub caps, chromed exterior mirrors and a subtle badge on the front fenders with the text ‘Rolls-Royce Motor Cars, Crewe, England’, together with the British flag. This absolutely stunning example is offered in a combination of Sherwood Green with Barley Hide piped in navy with Wilton carpet and sheepskin over rugs. One of just 46 right hand drive Last of Line examples, this car boasts just four former owners, the first being the supplying dealer JCT 600 who had this well specified example as a demonstrator before selling it to the first owner in June 2002. The car is offered with a comprehensive service history starting with JCT 600 right through to P&A Wood and recently Silver Lady in October 2020 at 26,898 miles. Complemented by the original two umbrellas in the boot and uprated modern Bluetooth phone kit and satellite navigation, this example also comes supplied with a full book pack, original service booklet and history file. Thought to be one of the best examples available to market and signifying such a transition for Rolls-Royce, this is certainly a collector’s item – so much so that our vendor commissioned his Spirit of Ecstasy to be gold plated. A stunning example of a truly appreciating classic.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 2007 Freightliner Custom Transmission: automatic Mileage: 192666Freightliner Trucks is an American truck manufacturer based in Portland Oregon and founded in 1929 as the truck-manufacturing division of Consolidated Freightways (from which it derives its name). The company was established in 1942 as Freightliner Corporation. Owned by Daimler AG since 1981, Freightliner is a part of Daimler subsidiary Daimler Trucks North America and produces a range of vans, medium-duty trucks, and heavy-duty trucks under its Freightliner Custom Chassis subsidiary, the company produces bare chassis and cutaway chassis for multiple types of vehicles. This behemoth of a custom-built Freightliner truck is as rare as it is large. The interior includes electrically adjusted seats sourced from an M Series BMW and air suspension. Registered as a breakdown truck, this vehicle is exempt from road tax and offers a fantastic marketing opportunity or just amazing fun.
