1988 BMW 635 CSi Highline Transmission: automaticMileage:69000Successor to the race proven E9 3.0CS/CSi, the BMW 6-Series was introduced in August 1976, it utilised a modified version of the 5-Series saloon platform equipped with all-round independent suspension and powerful disc brakes. A natural rival to the 928 and XJS, the four-seater 6-Series proved more capacious than the Porsche and sportier than the Jaguar. Immediately recognisable thanks to its distinctive 'shark nose' frontal styling and thin pillared glasshouse it boasts real road presence. Second only to the BMW Motorsport tuned M6 version, the 635CSi's 3430cc unit developed some 216bhp and 232lbft of torque propelling it from 0-60mph in 8.4 seconds and on to 135mph.This example of one of the 80’s most iconic sports cars is presented in lovely deep Royal Blue coachwork with contrasting sumptuous Highline specification grey leather trim. Boasting remarkably low mileage for a car that is so accustomed to gobbling up the miles, this example is offered in fabulous order with, at the time of viewing, the vendor stating that all electrical buttons are working correctly. Owned by BMW enthusiasts, the history file provides comprehensive evidence of continued maintenance and expenditure including new brake discs and pads in 2019 and, after which, the underside of the car was cleaned and checked and Dinitrol undersealing was applied to preserve the car for the future. Also present in the history file is every MoT test certificate from 1991 and the original book pack which details the supplying dealer, L.J.K Garages in Ilford, Essex who registered the car in June 1988. A copy of the original build sheet shows that this example was heavily specified with extras including limited-slip differential, sports seats, heated mirrors, electric sunroof, air conditioning, M-Tech steering wheel and rear window blind to mention a few. L.J.K, the supplying dealer serviced the car ten times from new and since then a comprehensive record of services from specialists coupled to enthusiast owner’s maintenance has been recorded. Offered with an MoT test certificate until January 2022 and with the original set of TRX alloys and tyres, this is an example of a great appreciating classic in very good condition with viewing highly recommended.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. 1998 BMW Z3M Transmission: manualMileage:111570The Z3 was the first modern mass-market roadster produced by BMW, as well as the first new BMW model to be assembled in the United States. It was introduced as a 1996 model year vehicle, shortly after being featured in the James Bond movie 'Goldeneye'. While the film was number one at the box office, sales of the car peaked and it was sold out by the time the car was launched. Along with the styling cues, BMW’s Motorsports division took the Z3M and shoehorned in the performance version of the most beloved six-cylinder engines in the auto industry from the BMW E36 M3, upping the power to 321bhp!!This example is finished in Estoril Blue metallic with blue and black leather sports seats and a blue hood. The car comes with its factory hardtop, heated seats, electric windows and electric door mirrors. It also has remote door locking facility, wind deflectors and a roof cover. Its powerful 3.2 litre six-cylinder engine is mated to a five-speed gearbox and all the alloys wheels are in good condition as is the car throughout. The ‘M’ series of this model is highly sought after and as this is a convertible, this makes it even more desirable.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. 1997 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph Transmission: automaticMileage:40418The Geneva Motor Show of 1998 saw the launch of the all new Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph. This new model was hand built at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe. It replaced the Silver Spur which ended production in 1997. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the U.K. and was powered by a 5.4 litre, aluminium alloy BMW V12 engine, making it the first twelve cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. This well equipped Rolls-Royce was fitted with adaptive ride control and anti-lock brakes and shared a platform and bodyshell with its contemporary; the Bentley Arnage. In both cars the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather with the door cappings and folding rear picnic trays finished in burr walnut veneer. The build quality of this new model was described as being the best Rolls-Royce to date.Originally registered on 19th December 1997, this Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph presents extremely well in the classic combination of Peacock Blue paintwork and magnolia Connolly leather. Arguably the most popular colour combination for this model. The inside of this great car greets with an abundance of woodwork and exceedingly comfortable seats. The smooth 5379cc, V12 engine offers brisk performance. As one of the last Rolls-Royce models to be built at the spiritual home of the brand these cars are becoming recognised by collectors and enthusiasts as fine investments. There is a good service history with this impressive car with the most recent work being undertaken in late 2020. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until September 2021, this splendid, low mileage example represents fantastic value and is offered at a fraction of its original cost.Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
1998 Rolls-Royce Silver Seraph ‘Ex Sir Bobby Robson’Transmission: automaticMileage:77222Unveiled in March 1998, the Silver Seraph replaced the Silver Spur. All Seraphs were handbuilt at the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, England, which stopped making Rolls-Royce models in 2002 but continued with Bentley. The car had a base price of £155,175 in the UK and was powered by a 5.4 litre, aluminium alloy, BMW V12 engine making it the first twelve-cylinder Rolls-Royce since the 1939 Phantom III. Standard electronics included digital engine management, adaptive ride control and anti-lock brakes and, aside from the radiator grille, badges and wheels, the Rolls-Royce was externally identical to the contemporary Bentley Arnage sharing both its platform and bodyshell. Inside, the Silver Seraph and the Bentley Arnage were similar but quite distinct from one another. In the Seraph, the gear selector was column mounted, and the gauges followed a traditional Rolls-Royce layout (for example, there was no tachometer). In both cars, the seats and dashboard were upholstered in Connolly leather and glossy burr walnut veneer and featured folding picnic trays for rear passengers. This wonderful example showing a mere 77,222 miles on the odometer is presented in the desirable colour combination of silver over a red leather interior. Purchased by ‘the gentleman of British football’, the late Sir Bobby Robson some years ago, the Silver Seraph was his pride and joy and was used regularly. The current vendor reports that the Rolls-Royce is in very good order throughout and drives superbly. Offered with a UK V5C registration document and a current MoT test certificate the Seraph comes to the market with a sensible reserve price and a very interesting history. Ready to be enjoyed by a new custodian. Interested parties should satisfy themselves as to the description and condition of each lot prior to the sale. Accordingly, buyers are on notice that each vehicle is offered ‘as is/as seen’ subject to the Terms and Conditions for the auction. Buyers are advised to inspect the vehicle in person or use a professional to carry out this service. Historics will not entertain disputes over descriptions.
1987 BMW M5 Transmission: manualMileage:174000 The BMW M5 is a high performance variant of the BMW 5 Series marketed under the BMW M sub-brand. It is considered an iconic vehicle and the majority of M5s have been produced in the saloon body style, but in some countries the M5 was also available as an estate. The first M5 model was hand-built in 1985 on the E28 535i chassis with a modified engine from the M1 that made it the fastest production saloon at the time. M5 models have been produced for every generation of the 5 Series since 1985.M5 variants have been produced for every generation of the 5 series since 1985 in various guises via the E28 and E34 continuing through to the present day. Between March 1986 and November 1988 only 185 RH drive E28, hand built cars were produced as designated for the UK market with the top spec engine and full body kit. They are regarded as an iconic model of which very few original examples survive today. This extremely rare BMW drives like a car that belies its mileage. The enjoyable driving experience is a credit to the service work completed by the current owner. A record winning racing driver, he is not only a well-known face on the circuit but also only the second owner of D42 NKO. This BMW comes with an impressive list of works done ‘in house’ by the vendors team. The MoT test history for the car confirms very little use since 2014 at which time the car was placed in dry storage. More recently this BMW has enjoyed a comprehensive recommissioning that has seen the fitting of a new fuel pump and filters, the checking of all injectors to ensure an even spray of fuel, the fitting of a new main section of exhaust system, an overhaul of the braking system including new discs to the front and two new front tyres. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 21st January 2022, this handsome BMW is realistically estimated for such a rare car with tremendous investment potential.
2016 Fiat 500 695 Biposto Record Transmission: manualMileage:31189The Fiat 500 is a rear-engined, small city car that was manufactured and marketed from 1957. Some 50 years later, Fiat previewed an all-new three-door hatchback 500 model in March 2007. The design of the 2007 Fiat 500 is based on the 2004 Trepiúno concept car. The new model features distinctive retro styling, following the pattern of the Volkswagen Beetle and BMW Mini, as modern reinterpretation of Dante Giacosa’s 1957 original Fiat 500. Production started in mid-2007 in Fiat facilities in Tychy, Poland. Numerous trim equipment and performance versions are offered. This Fiat 500 Abarth Biposto Record was originally registered on 29th July 2016. This limited model had a run of 133 units, of which, only 39 came to the UK making the car on offer today not only attractive but very rare indeed. The manufacturers figure for this pared-down ‘pocket rocket’ show the weight of this model as only 997kg. It is no wonder that the claimed performance figures achieved from the cars turbocharged 1.4 litre engine are 187bhp and a 0-62 of 5.9 seconds. The vendor has owned this stunning car from new and tells us that it really is as much fun to drive as the figures suggest. The bright yellow paintwork, Abarth badging and embossed Alcantara seats make this Fiat a real head turner. Offered to auction with a V5C registration document and an MoT test certificate valid until 22nd July 2021, this Abarth is ready to put a smile on a new owners face.
1985 Austin Maestro 1.3 Mk. I Transmission: manualMileage:18266The Austin Maestro was produced from 1983 to 1987 by British Leyland and from 1988 until 1995 by Rover Group. The car was produced at the former Morris plant in Cowley, Oxford although today, the redeveloped factory produces the BMW Mini. The Maestro incorporated many novel and pioneering features for its class. It had a bonded laminated windscreen, homofocal headlamps, body-coloured plastic bumpers, an electronic engine management system, adjustable front seat belt upper anchorage positions, an asymmetrically split rear seat and a 12,000-mile service interval.Offered from a deceased estate, this 1985 Austin Maestro is in remarkable and original condition. The Maestro has only three owners recorded in total. A Miss Audrey Baker purchased the car on 14th October 1985 less than one month from the date of first registration at the original supplying Austin-Rover dealers the Marn Group, London. The car was the pride and joy of its last owner and attended many local rallies. When he purchased the car in 2013, the centre of the roof had dull paintwork so a Union Jack was applied. This does not detract from the overall appearance; in fact, quite the opposite with, apparently, many positive comments received from onlookers during trips. The car was recently inspected by a marque collector and specialist who stated that, due to the car’s condition, the mileage is believed genuine making this, probably, one of the lowest mileage examples in existence. Certainly, on inspection, the key areas that are first to succumb to rot and wear on these models are in remarkable condition. These include the engine bay, undersides, filler cap area, interior and luggage compartment area amongst others. There are one or two marks on the coachwork, but these do not deflect from its overall condition. This example is a Mk. I base model with the more desirable early dashboard and instrumentation. The car comes complete with its original and unused tools and jack etc. There is also a UK V5C registration document, manuals, original radio (not fitted) and approximately two boxes of spare parts.Finished in Moonraker Blue with a grey interior, this charming Maestro is a rare car indeed and with such low mileage, ownership history and great condition, it is highly collectible.
