Some old worm to the wood to the front on one side. A set of six Victorian walnut balloon back dining chairs with upholstered seats on turned and fluted tapering front legs and two similarCondition ReportAll in need of re-upholstering.  Set of six: three have had repairs/reinforcements to the backs with metal supports and all the front legs have been rubber tipped.  Some rubbers are missing exposing a screw, otherwise knocks, bumps etc, all conducive with age and use.  The two similar: joints are loose at the back, have had some repairs to the tops of the frames, wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more details.  Signs of worm in various places, dirty and in need of a clean

Lot 742

An early 19th Century mahogany linen press, the moulded cornice over two panelled doors enclosing five linen shelves on a base of two short over two long drawers to bracket feet 122 cm wide x 60 cm deep x 187 cm highCondition ReportBack appears to be a replacement, the cornice does not come off, doors have clearly been repolished and probably stained as several scratch marks within the door are now black in colour.  Replacement lock items present but not secure, replacement handles, no physical signs of woodworm.  Missing cornice from the right hand side and missing moulding are both present and need re-attaching.  Sliding spaces - i.e. a slide rather than a hanging space and drawer liners are oak.  Otherwise generally in need of a clean, has some white dust residue all over.  There is an area of patching to the left hand side, splits to the door panels, there are also a couple of large dents on the door panels, areas of moulding etc missing to the drawer fronts, knocks, bumps etc all conducive with age and use - see images for more details

A set of three 19th Century Berlin porcelain twin bowl salts with putti decoration, bearing blue under-glazed baton mark, 13.5 cm wide x 12 cm highCondition ReportOne salt is missing a leg, a putti has been off and re-attached, wing is also missing, head has been off, has basically had heavy damage and restoration throughout.  Another has some chipping to the edges of the salts.  All three have general wear and tear including wear to the gilding and paintwork - see images for more details
