Handcrafted with meticulous attention to anatomical accuracy, the sculpture features a finely painted leopard with a realistically patterned coat, muscular tension, and an expressive face. The bongo is rendered with lifelike grace, its alert posture and textured fur emphasizing the moment of dramatic tension. The piece is mounted on a custom wooden base with a textured ground cover, adding depth to the scene. Signed "Paul Jonas Studios" and marked as a limited edition (LE #85/400). R. P. Feynman, Theory of Fundamental Processes, owners inscription to inside of cover for 'Jack H Waggoner', published 1961 New York,Published in 1961 by W. A. Benjamin, Theory of Fundamental Processes is one of the key works by Nobel Prize-winning physicist Richard P. Feynman. This book, along with Quantum Electrodynamics (1961), distills his renowned Caltech lectures on quantum mechanics and particle interactions into an accessible yet profound exploration of fundamental physics. The text delves into quantum field theory, path integrals, and particle interactions, offering insights that remain foundational in modern theoretical physics. As with many of Feynman’s works, its clarity and originality make it both an essential reference for physicists and a sought-after collectible for those interested in the history of science.Richard P. Feynman (1918–1988), was one of the most influential physicists of the 20th century, renowned for his contributions to quantum mechanics, quantum electrodynamics (QED), and particle physics. Born in New York in 1918, he demonstrated exceptional mathematical ability from an early age and later earned his PhD from Princeton University. During World War II, he worked on the Manhattan Project, developing atomic weaponry, but later focused on theoretical physics. His work on QED earned him the 1965 Nobel Prize in Physics, alongside Julian Schwinger and Sin-Itiro Tomonaga.Feynman’s brilliance extended beyond research—he was a charismatic lecturer and educator, making complex topics accessible to students and the public alike. His Feynman Lectures on Physics remain essential reading for aspiring physicists. Later in life, he played a crucial role in investigating the Challenger disaster in 1986. A passionate thinker, bongo player, and painter, Feynman left a lasting legacy, influencing generations of scientists with his curiosity and unconventional approach to problem-solving.

An important "Ngya" commemorative post, BongoThe Bongo people, a population of hunters and farmers, were decimated in the second half of the 19th century, particularly due to the expansion of the Zandé kingdoms. Today the Bongo live in communities scattered throughout south-western Sudan. Traditionally, a Bongo man acquired status during his lifetime through recognition of his talents as a hunter and warrior. These anthropomorphic posts feature personal adornments such as bracelets and scarification patterns that can be seen as clear markers of identity. FRANK ZAPPA/CAPTAIN BEEFHEART - BONGO FURY LP - ORIGINAL UK WHITE LABEL TEST PRESSING WITH ORIGINAL (UK) PICTURE SLEEVE (K 59209). Virtually non-existent original UK white label test pressing of Frank Zappa and Captain Beefheart's famous May 1975 concerts in Austin, Texas. This copy is amazingly complete with the original UK printing picture sleeve; it is thought that very few copies of this were ever produced. The record (blank white labels, machine stamped matrix: K59209 A1 & B1) is in exceptional Ex+ condition showing only a couple of extremely fine, faint and wispy paper marks. The sleeve (with printed UK catalogue number K 59209) is in VG condition showing some creasing though no rips, tears or seam splits. In his article Great Concerts Revisited: Captain Beefheart, London 1975, Stuart Penney stated:"Never the shrewdest businessman, in 1974 Beefheart had somehow managed to sign contracts with more than one record label at the same time, causing all kinds of legal problems. Consequently, Virgin records blocked the British release of Bongo Fury which appeared in America and elsewhere on Zappa's own DiscReet label through Warner Bros."The album was allocated a UK Warner Bros catalogue number (K59209) and was even pictured with this number on music press tour ads, before Virgin called the lawyers in and the British release was cancelled. UK white label test pressings do exist, but that's as far as it got. US copies were easily found in the London import stores, but Bongo Fury was not officially released in the UK until the CD era many years later."More information on the release can be found via these links: https://andnowitsallthis.blogspot.com/2023/11/great-concerts-revisited-captain.html#:~:text=The%20first%20time%20I%20heard,presented%20an%20imposing%2C%20shamanistic%20figure.https://www.donlope.net/fz/notes/Bongo_Fury.html
