Worksplate BRUSH SULZER No. 444 1963. Ex British Railways Class 47 diesel originally numbered D1682 becoming 47096 May 1974. Allocated new to 81A Old Oak Common Oct 1963. Unofficially named Rook in Nov 1989. Withdrawn from Tinsley in Sep 1995 and stored there until moved to CF Booth, Rotherham Feb 1998 and scrapped Jan 2000. Oval cast aluminium in very good condition, measures 9.5in x 5.75in.
Worksplate BRUSH TRACTION ENGLAND No 267 1960. Ex British Railways Class 31 originally numbered D5667 becoming 31240 Feb 1974. New to 31B March Nov 1960 and withdrawn from Stratford Jan 1990 and cut up there. Oval cast aluminium, face restored with traces of BR blue paint on the back, measures 9.675in x 5.75in.

Stored at Scunthorpe West Yard from Feb 1993 until moved to MC Processors, Glasgow and scrapped Oct 1994. Oval cast aluminium, face restored measures 9.5in x 5.75in.
Nameplate CHARLES FRANCIS BRUSH ex British Railways Class 60 diesel numbered 60098. Named at Brush, Loughborough on 13th April 1992 after the founder of the Brush Electric Company in the USA as it was the 1000th locomotive built at the Brush Falcon Works since 1945. Nameplates were removed Nov 2009. First allocated to Immingham in Dec 1992, it was stored at Toton in Apr 2004 and currently owned by DC Rail. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition. Measures 81in x 9.75in.
Nameplate RESTORMEL CASTLE ex Class 57 57602. Originally built as Class 47 D1818 at Brush Works in 1965 and later becoming 47337 Herbert Austin until converted to Class 57 at Brush Traction, Loughborough in Nov 2003 for use by First Great Western on the Night Riviera sleeper services. Named at Par station on 28/9/04, this original nameplate was replaced by new ones in the same style as the Class 43 Castle Class HSTs. Still in service with Great Western Railway. Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 57.5in x 10in. Sold on behalf of Great Western Railways and comes with an official GWR certificate of authenticity confirming the original owner.
Nameplate AILSA CRAIG ex British Railways Class 60 Diesel 60044 built by Brush Traction Loughborough as works number 946 in 1991. Nameplates were applied when built and removed in in 1996 . Rectangular cast aluminium in as removed condition measures 39.5in x 9.75in. Ailsa Craig is an island in the outer Firth of Clyde and its granite is used make curling stones.

Chip to the back rim and further fritting around. Flaking to the enamels on the leaves. Glaze scratches to the exterior.Second - some wear, scratches and pitting.Enamel tone and stands not an exact match on the two objects.

Six terracotta earthenware plates, three uniformly sized supper plates covered in an off-white glaze, with brush and slip decoration in shades of blue, areas of sgraffito, glaze run to the exteriors, two painted 'Garland' to base, one unsigned, all approx. 23 cm diameter, together with three larger earthenware plates by the same potter, each with abstract brushwork, slip, foliate or sgraffito decoration, all three signed to base, the largest 29 cm diameterQTY: (6)NOTE:The potter David Garland lives and works in Gloucestershire. His solo exhibitions include the Redfern Gallery, the Crafts Council and the Besson Gallery, among others, and in New York with Kate Ganz. Four works by David Garland feature in the celebrated studio pottery collection of William Alfred Ismay (1910-2001), now held in the care of the York Museums Trust.
