A Cantagalli Heraldic Majolica charger, decorated with mythical beasts and coat of arms to the centre. Diameter 30.5 cm, the rear with painted cockerel mark (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The plate appears to be in generally good order with no significant issues. There is a small chip to the right-hand side of the neck of the right-hand dragon on the rim which has been re-glued into place. There are a number of other fairly minor rim glaze nibbles. The main body of the plate when viewed from the top is in good order. The underside is a little dirty and has glaze imperfections and scratches. There are also kiln marks.
