Main bowl painted with figure upon a sea monster with shell horn in hands. Blue cockerel mark to base, approximately 23.8cm wide x 11.5cm high. Further details: damage to one side with loss and small repair; other side with loss/damage; loss to paint and chips to both top and base rim, pitting and wear.

Ulisse Cantagalli, a large Hispano-Moresque style ruby-copper lustre basin, c.1900, decorated with shrubs and other foliage, the exterior with large scrolls, blue painted cockerel mark, 44.5cm diameter, some restoration Substantial areas of high quality restoration to the rim and two rim cracks extending down to the base. A section of the rim has been broken and re-glued with some splinter losses to the glaze around the immediate area. Cantagalli Pottery of Italy, Faience Jug with Persian Influenced Patterns. Height: 18cm

A Cantagalli Heraldic Majolica charger, decorated with mythical beasts and coat of arms to the centre. Diameter 30.5 cm, the rear with painted cockerel mark (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The plate appears to be in generally good order with no significant issues. There is a small chip to the right-hand side of the neck of the right-hand dragon on the rim which has been re-glued into place. There are a number of other fairly minor rim glaze nibbles. The main body of the plate when viewed from the top is in good order. The underside is a little dirty and has glaze imperfections and scratches. There are also kiln marks.
