Each piece marked along the underside with the Capodimonte crowned Neapolitan N.Height ranges from 7 3/4 in to 11 1/4 in; diameter ranges from 3 1/4 in to 6 in.

The composition is highly reminiscent of Renaissance works by artists such as Alessandro Botticelli. Marked with the Capodimonte crowned Neapolitan N along the upper right corner of the composition.Unframed; height: 9 1/4 in x width: 17 1/2 in. Framed; height: 15 1/2 in x width: 24 in.
French school, second half of the 19th century.Biscuit porcelain.Size: 35 x 30 x 30 cm.Biscuit centre with sculptural group in neoclassical style. On a cylindrical base adorned with festoons and crowns, a pedestal decorated with masks rises, and on it stands a female figure, evoking Aphrodite, accompanied by Eros. Four lions surround the couple. The biscuit technique used in this piece, which gives a matt, very white finish to the pieces, began to be used in the mid-18th century, particularly in France at the Sèvres factory and in Italy at the Royal Factory of Capodimonte.
