With only 25 units ever produced worldwide and one of only six for the UK-market, this special car merges Aston Martin’s legacy of performance with the style and sophistication of cinema's most iconic spy. To celebrate the release of the 25th James Bond film, No Time to Die, Aston Martin released two exclusive 007 special editions inspired by the cars featured in the film. The DBS 007 Edition and the Vantage 007 Edition, each of which was offered in limited numbers, were carefully designed and crafted by the experts in Aston Martin’s bespoke division - Q by Aston Martin.According to the Aston Martin website - 'Strictly limited to just 25 production cars available worldwide and featuring the same specification as the muscular DBS featured in the film, the car has a suitably menacing road presence. Inside, the cockpit of this DBS Superleggera is a dark, brooding, leather-clad environment with flashes of red detailing the outline of the seats. Subtle 007 branding can be found on the door cards, armrest buckle badge and on the rear sub-woofer cover. The car is finished with a sill plaque that recognises it is one of just 25 DBS Superleggera 007 Editions. Built on the foundation of the powerful DBS Superleggera, the 007 Edition boasts a 5.2-litre twin-turbo V12 engine, delivering an exhilarating 715bhp.The DBS 007 Edition adds a raft of styling and design enhancements that further elevate its appeal. The car sports special Ceramic Grey exterior paint with the roof, mirror caps, splitter, diffuser and rear Aeroblade IITM featured in black tinted carbon fibre'.On offer here is one of only six UK-supplied 007 DBS Superleggera editions and it's being offered by its only owner. The odometer was showing 2,500 miles at the time of cataloguing and the car was first registered to its current and only owner on 1st April 2021 and has been kept and well maintained in his private Collection ever since. The car boasts Aston Martin service history with the last service taking place on 2nd January 2024 with minimal mileage since. Like Bond, the DBS 007 Edition is both elegant and fierce and owning one of the 25 means owning a piece of cinematic and automotive history. Please note the private plate seen in the pictures, DB11 DBS, is not included in the sale but is available via separate negotiation.Specification Make: ASTON MARTIN Model: DBS SUPERLEGGERA 007 Year: 2021 Chassis Number: SCFRLHAV8MGR02384 Registration Number: DB11 DBS Transmission: Auto Engine Number: AE31/55502 Drive Side: Right-hand Drive Odometer Reading: 2500 Miles Make: RHDClick here for more details and images

Lot 406

Designed by the award-winning British architect and designer, Nigel Coates and celebrating the Ferrari 166 MM, this substantial table offers a unique opportunity to own and enjoy a rare presentation of parts and memorabilia relating to this special car that brought Enzo Ferrari his first victory. The 166 Mille Miglia (‘MM’)Touring Barchetta was the car that, in 1949, delivered Ferrari an extraordinary year that truly put Enzo Ferrari’s young company on the map and he commented many years later 'I don’t remember anything more worthy than that first victory'. Designed and built by Ferrari using the legendary 2-litre Gioacchino Colombo V12, cradled in Aurelio Lampredi's inspired tubular chassis and clothed by Carrozzeria Touring, the car was launched at the Turin Motor Show in September 1948. Between 1948 and 1953, just 47 examples of the 166 MM were constructed and sold. In April 1949, two Ferrari 166 MM Barchettas scored a breathtaking 1-2 in the Mille Miglia and then at the Le Mans 24 Hours, Luigi Chinetti put in a world class performance to win this legendary race, Ferrari’s first victory at Le Sarthe. Within weeks, Chinetti was in the lead yet again, winning the Spa 24 Hours in the 166 MM. Three world-class victories from Enzo Ferrari’s still-new sports car firm announced the Prancing Horse had truly arrived. Scuderia Ferrari was in the ascendancy and it was the 166 MM that had propelled it to the top. This table and its associated 166 MM-related automobilia are undoubtedly unique, a word often misused but not in this case. Its current owner previously had it on display in his office for a number of years but it has recently come from dry storage. The upper glass tier is 2,400mm long x 950mm wide with each bevelled and toughened glass pane being approximately 15mm thick. It's complemented by four Charles Eames-style chairs, a set of four Ferrari coffee mugs and coasters and a selection of period ‘Souvenir’ official Ferrari playing cards together with several specialist journals, including Cavallino and Ferrari Owners Club GB magazine articles which feature the fabulous Ferrari 166 MM.On the lower glass tier is a full display set of 12 numbered pistons for the Ferrari 166 V12 manufactured by JE Pistons of Ohio and complete with all ring sets (authenticated). There is an original 1949 Italian sales brochure for the car, a very rare copy of the 1949 special race edition of the L’Eclaireur regional newspaper detailing all the 24 Heures du Mans race entrants, two beautiful 1:18th scale models of the car, a rare copy of L’Idee Ferrari in English featuring the colour sketches for the 166 MM together with a Jeroboam (four bottles) of 1949 Moet et Chandon Champagne.Click here for more details and images
