An artist's Portfolio containing works collected by Jack Yeats and his wife Cottie, or given to them by their friends, some carefully preserved in tissue, including: a)An interesting drawing, ink on card, 8 ins x 6 ins, showing figures in a West of Ireland landscape. A woman sits under a thorn tree, a man and a woman look over a stone wall; in the wall is an oblong box, possibly a coffin. Old Bill WW1 Caricature Car Mascot The mascot is made of bronze and is a head and shoulders of Old Bill wearing steel helmet and scarf. The underside is stamped Copyright and is with registration number. GC with good patina. One small crack to scarf not effecting overall appearance. These mascots were popular during the 1920's and were purchased and mounted onto radiator caps.
