A late Victorian brass carriage clock, marked JW Benson London, French made Paris, striking on a gong. Height excluding carrying handle 11 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The number on the bottom left corner of the back plate is 33133. It is just possible that the last digit is a 5 as it is partially obscured by the rachet mechanism. On balance we do however think that it is a 3. The clock is in generally good order. The movement winds on both trains and is striking when manually advanced. It is currently ticking away. The dial is in good condition with no cracks. The right-hand glass panel has a corner break but the piece is in situ. All of the glass panels are in good order. The brass case retains much of its original finish.
A late 19th/early 20th century brass carriage clock, with Roman numerals to the dial, two train movement striking on a gong. Height excluding carrying handle 12 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement is fully wound on both trains. It will only tick for a few seconds when agitated. When advanced by hand adjustment the gong strikes. There is a pointer missing. The front case glass has a small chip to the bottom right-hand corner. All of the other glass panels are in good order. The case itself is generally clean and retains much of its original finish. We do not have the key.
A French carriage clock, the face with enamelled dial and gilt floral sprays, the case with five glass sides and the movement stamped Paris. Height excluding handle 14 cm, width 9.5 cm, depth 8.5 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The movement winds on both trains and is currently ticking away. The hands advance as they should and strike on the hour and the half. The repeat mechanism seems to operate correctly. We have the key. The dial is in good order with no cracks. The gilt surround is in particularly good condition. The brasswork to the outer case is generally tarnished and the original finish is missing in places. All glass panels are in good order with no corner chips.

A 19th century French fancy ormolu cased carriage clock, movement requires work, 13cm high. Condition - dial marked, gilding tarnished in places Dial signed (and movement stamped) Bolviller a Paris. Neglected condition: dial with two cracks between 1 and 2; dial and case dirty; glasses not chipped; rear door lacks pins to secure and form hinge. Outside count-wheel movement in need of overhaul and not working; no parts obviously missing.
