A large Sevres style porcelain bombe casket, late 19th century, painted with Watteau inspired panels of courting couples and landscapes, within raised gilt rococo style borders on a blue celeste ground, the interior painted with floral sprays, with gilt metal mounts, the lid signed L. Bertren, 36cm wide, 15.5cm highIn good condition with no obvious faults visible. Some wear/splits evident to the interior gilt metal, and some rubbing to gilt to the interior.
