I was employed as an assistant pattern-cutter working in the sample room to support the development and alterations of the patterns for the jersey/cotton and wool crepe designs. All the patterns were cut by hand, and then graded, which was used to fulfil the orders from the catwalk show, held twice a year at the main showroom also in Bruton Street. I worked closely with the design team and the head pattercutter/sample machinists to ensure smooth running of the patterns and toiles. After 2 years I was managing the design studio, ensuring quality controls on the patterns ready for production. The picture of the showroom is in the exhibition catalogue of 1980. I left employment due to having a child in 1981. I also worked on the technical drawings to support her designs, also shown in the 1980 catalogue. The patterns and toiles had great precision and accuracy, and sometimes many adjustments and alterations, which were colour coded for communication across the team were undertaken. The discipline of getting the patterns right for toiling/sampling and the changes that were made during the process from idea to final garment was highly advanced.'

2002 Alfa Romeo 166 2.5 V6Make: Alfa Romeo Model: 166Year: 2002Mileage: 0VIN: ZAR93600000064571Configuration: Right Hand DriveRegistration: VX02XTFTransmission: manualThe 166 was Alfa Romeo's flagship saloon from 1996 to 2007, with this example, registered in March 2002, being a pre-facelift example in a desirable spec with 190bhp 2.5-litre Busso V6 engine and manual transmission. The car is finished in Rosso Alfa with Nero leather decorated with the Alfa Romeo crest. Its specification includes MOMO electrically-adjustable and heated seats, a wood-rim steering wheels, 17in Teledial alloy wheels, ICS Intelligent Control System with colour screen, CD multichanger, climate control air conditioning, cruise control and electric windows and mirrors. Five former registered keepers are showing on the V5C and there is an MoT until May 2023. The history folder records 10 services between the original service book and supporting invoices. The bills show that four Pirelli Cinturato tyres were fitted in March 2018 and the front and rear brake pads and discs were replaced along with the brake flexi hoses in October 2019. There was a new cambelt, water pump, radiator and oil cooler in December 2019. A suspension refresh was carried out in March 2020 with new front and rear springs, rear shocks, droplinks and rear suspension arms. The MoT certificates on file go back to 2005. There's also the owner's handbook, service book and ICS instructions, along with a spare set of keys. It is, unfortunately, impossible to read the odometer as its display is pixelated - and has been since 2014, when 53,242 miles were recorded). According to the previous owner, the display was intermittent and last mileage noted was 82,123 miles in 2019, when the cambelt was replaced. Not much mileage has been covered since then - as evidenced by the tyres, which were fitted in 2018 as noted above, still have around 7mm of tread remaining.
