An exceptionally rare and extensive late Victorian and later Collection of Specimen WoodsComprising of approximately four hundred and forty six specimens of timber species, enclosed in seven mahogany and eight satinwood hinged volumes of conforming size.Included are twelve volumes devoted to wood samples, mostly with type-written paper labels, two volumes containing examples of marquetry work and a further volume with samples of stained woods together with a selection of marquetry.
