The larger model with some small firing flaws but seems to be generally good, typical glaze crazing. Smaller lamp restored top rim which has yellowed and discoloured and comprises approximately 40% of the rim. Some further discolouration to the top of body with may indicate further remedial work. There is wear to the gilt decoration in places, otherwise in reasonable condition.  Stand also drilled to receive electric cable but otherwise good.

A large Chinese carved fluorite figure of Guan Yin - mid-20th century, on a carved hardwood base, the figure 29.25cm high, 32.75cm high overall, the base with a (detachable) brass table lamp fitting. (two chips to figure around the raised right hand and object below)* Condition: Chip to fingers on raised right hand of figure and another piece missing to the left of the object below this hand. A few tiny fleabite nibbles to the edges of the carving on the robe and base edge. The stone has natural cracks throughout. The figure was glued to the hardwood stand but is now detached there is a little glue residue remaining to the base of the figure. The stand has a chip to one of the feet and a glued repair to another foot.
