The lot comprising a bamboo shaped zisha clay pottery brush holder decorated with relief bamboo, prunus and pine tress, together with a small Song style oil spot jian-ware tea bowl, engraved marked to the base. Brush pot measure 11.5cm tall.

A LARGE CHINESE GREY POTTERY HU JAR WITH COVER, WESTERN HAN DYNASTY (206 BC – AD 8). Heavily potted of wide baluster form made from a fine grained grey pottery that is relatively highly fired. With large and detailed Taotie mask handles with added rows of banded decoration. 46.5cm tall. Section at the mouth has been broken off and restuck.

The larger pot with bronze handle and two character mark to base reading Gong ju, probably for the Thai market 19th century; Together with a smaller teapot with impressed six character mark to base. Larger teapot 19.5cm length. (2)Larger pot cover with chip loss to interior rim, the body in good overall condition. Cover with small nick to cover rim.
A GROUP OF CHINESE YIXING POTTERY TEAPOTS, 20TH CENTURY. To include a boxed teapot with certificate by, Long Zhou Xingxiang, dated 1995; A basket weave decorated teapot, with makers mark to base and cover; Together with an enamel floral decorated teapot. 6cm - 14cm tall. (3)All in good order.
Group of two Chinese crackleware ceramic pottery vessels including one Nanking dragon bowl with a Kangxi mark and one Nanking dragon vase with a Chenghua mark, each vessel with a celadon crackle glaze. The vase is of a baluster form with an applied dragon decoration snaking along the sides of the vase as it chases a flaming pearl. The bowl with a similarly applied decoration, depicting two dragons chasing flaming pearls along the sides of the vessels, in addition to a band of applied scrollwork along the upper rim of the bowl.(Bowl) height: 3 in x 7 1/2 in. (Vase) height: 12 in x diameter: 4 1/2 in.Condition: There are several chips to the rim of the bowl. Some discoloration/staining to the glaze along the interior. Some wear to the footrim. Wear throughout the vase. Some cracks to the body of the dragon. Some areas of discoloration. Wear to the footrim.
Unusually large Chinese Han dynasty green-glazed pottery boshan lu hill-form incense burner or lian. The lid molded in the shape of hills or mountains, depicting five sacred mountains between earth and paradise. The exterior molded with a landscape filled with beasts, likely big cats, birds, and monkeys. His generous donations to Mia allowed them to establish a fund for the Deputy Director and Chief Operating Officer, one of the few endowed positions of this type in the museum field. He additionally served as a trustee of the institute, advocating for its operational growth. In its turn, the museum established a gallery named in his honor in recognition for his endowment fund and numerous contributions to their collection.Height: 12 in x diameter: 9 1/2 in.Condition: There is calcifications throughout consistent with burial. Small losses to the glaze throughout; crazing to the glaze. There is a large chip the underside of the rim of the lid. One of the descending prongs along the underside is chipped off. Small chips to the rims. There is a series of cracks to one side of the vessel, possibly original to the firing.

With a pair of luted S-curved upraised strap handles. The domed lid with two registers of low-relief molded animals, likely big cats and monkeys, with three bosses. The glazed interior and underside with iridescence. In the form of bronze vessels of similar style.Provenance: From the Estate of C. Chinese neolithic Siwa culture handled pottery jar. With a two applied handles reaching from the shoulder to the rim of the saddle mouth. With a large black burnished area along one side of the jar. Small incised decorations along the base of the handles.This item has been thermoluminescence tested and the date of the last firing was estimated at 2,300 to 3,600 years ago. The TL test document is not included with this lot but an image is provided in the listing photographs.Provenance: By repute the collection of Brian Page; Private Minnesota Collection.Height: 10 1/4 in x width: 7 in x depth: 7 1/2 in.Condition: Some losses to the top layer of the clay. Some repairs throughout, mainly along the upper rim. The repairs are well disguised within the vase. General wear throughout consistent with age and use.

Canton famille rose plate painted with figures, 25cm diameter, Chinese saucer dish, two pottery teapoys and a brown ceramic standBoth teaboys have chipping to bases. Lid is missing to one. Other lid has a metal replacement. Small blue and white saucer in good condition, 15cm diameter. Famille rose plate does have some hairline cracks as shown in photos, 25cm diameter.
