Three Chinese tea pots comprising one with hand painted figures and calligraphic script, another in the form of a sage with one similar. [3]. [W]Condition Report: Possible loss to the finial of the cover of the sage form teapot, no further signs of significant damage. The tea pot decorated with figures and calligraphic script is in good condition overall, no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration, some losses to the painted decoration (predominantly the gilding) in areas, some slight surface scratching here and there. There is some sort of substance (paint or similar) smeared across the base and up the side of the pot but this appears to scrape off. The teapot with calligraphic script is approximately 9 cm (h) and 9 cm (d) excluding the spout, spout approximately 6 cm (l), largest teapot of the other two is 11.5 cm (h)
Three eighteenth century Worcester Porcelain teapots and two coffee pots, the group includes a 'Chinese Family' pattern teapot, a 'Floral' pattern teapot, a 'Trellis' pattern teapot, together with a floral coffee pot, and a fluted coffee pot, widest diameter 19cm, tallest height 23.5cm. (9)Condition: Chinese Family teapot has crack in cover, floral teapot is chipped and cracked in spout with finial missing from cover. The Trellis teapot cover was cracked through and has benefitted from an old restoration which has yellowed. A Chinese export famille rose sparrow beak teapot, 21 cm, and a dish depicting a battle or tournament, (2). The teapot has a number of firing cracks and inclusions to the interior, and likely crack to inside edge, though could be firing crack, some areas of loss to enamel and gilding, the base has some nibbles. The tray has a number of inclusions and other manufacturing faults.
