A cased set of six silver teaspoons and sugar tongs, Sheffield 1921, together with a silver cigarette case. (The vendor advises that this lot was awarded to his wife's grandfather, the athlete Cecil Griffiths. He is only one of four Welsh track and field athletes ever to win an Olympic gold medal (in 1920). The vendor has had a book published about him (Only Gold Matters) and there is much about him on the internet). *Please note that there is no proof of provenance for this lot and therefore not verified by Charles Ross Auctioneers.
