A large Edwardian ebonised mahogany and ormolu mounted bracket clock and bracket, movement by W&H Sch., striking on two coiled gongs, dial signed J. Lewis, Margate and Ramsgate, 71cm high. Condition fair to good, the clock has not been tested for timekeeping.Case dirty and metal mounts tarnished but all mounts complete; one key locks front and rear doors; no winding key; dial bright; glass to dial door good.  Winterhalder & Hofmeier German movement with twin going barrels.  With original pendulum.  Has been set going and has kept good time with quarter chimes for several days, although not guaranteed.

An early 19th century brass inlaid mahogany lancet shaped mantel clock by G. Willson of London, pendulum and key, no winding key, 45cm. Condition - fair to good, not tested as workingCONDITION: No woodworm seen; all four feet renewed; four old cracks to the arch, clearly visible; claret lining to side interiors renewed; nut to secure pendulum whilst in transit missing; single key locks/unlocks rear door and front glass dial door; convex dial with a flake between 3 and 4 at the chapter ring; convex glass dial-door hinge re-soldered and re-attached with modern screws.  Movement backplate has had two fairly modern brass braces added, needed to lock the backplate of the movement into place - these braces held by a screw visible at the outside of each side.  Can’t say whether this movement is original to this case. Movement has been set going over several days and appears to be keeping good time, although not guaranteed.  No winding key.
