CRISTIANO RONALDO 2014 UEFA SUPER CUP MATCH ISSUED #7 REAL MADRID JERSEYThe 2014 UEFA Super Cup was the 39th edition of the UEFA Super Cup, an annual football match organised by UEFA and contested by the reigning champions of the two main European club competitions, the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League. The match featured two Spanish teams Real Madrid and Sevilla, the winners of the 2013-14 UEFA Champions League and the 2013-14 UEFA Europa League, respectively. It was played at the Cardiff City Stadium in Cardiff, Wales, on 12th August, 2014. The date was moved from Friday in late August in previous years, to mid-August starting this year, following the removal of the August international friendly date in the new FIFA International Match Calendar. Real Madrid won 2-0 to win their second UEFA Super Cup, with both goals by Cristiano Ronaldo. The offered Adidas white long-sleeved white jersey features the name "RONALDO" and #7 applied on the back. The Real Madrid Club crest, Adidas logo, and sponsor together with matchday details are applied on front. Appropriate felt patches applied to both sleeves. The jersey has two buttons up front. The jersey type is adizero which is designed exclusively for players. Made in Vietnam. Sized 8.
DIEGO MARADONA 1982/83 MATCH WORN BARCELONA UNIFORMThe iconic Diego Maradona joined FC Barcelona in the summer of 1982 for a world-record transfer fee of $7.6 million from Argentina's Boca Juniors, introducing the diminutive playmaker to the highly-competitive world of European soccer. Maradona took to the European game instantly, and although he only played with Barcelona for two seasons, his impact on the club and La Liga cannot be overstated, scoring 22 goals in his 36 appearances.Offered is an FC Barcelona kit worn by Maradona during his tenure with the club during the 1982/83 season. The jersey features Maradona's iconic number "10" printed on the back in white numerals over Barca's timeless red and blue vertical stripes. Barcelona's crest and a logo for kit manufacturer Meyba are sewn onto the jersey's front. Meyba manufactured the Barcelona kits from 1982-1992, a period of great success for the Blaugrana. The jersey is size G and exhibits noticeable wear and the shorts are size 6. A Meyba tag is sewn onto the back inside collar of the kit. The jersey comes with an LOA.
EUSEBIO 1961/75 MATCH WORN #10 BENFICA AWAY JERSEYA Casa Desporto brand Sport Lisboa e Benfica 1961/75 football jersey match worn by Portuguese football star Eusebio da Silva Ferreira, widely known simply as Eusebio. Stitched on the upper left front is a Benfica logo patch. Stitched on the back of the jersey is Eusebio's number 10 in red fabric numbers. Stitched on the left sleeve is Portugal's coat of arms. The manufacturer label in the collar became undone but is photographed in the letter. Eusebio is considered Benfica's and the Portugal national team's most renowned player and one of the first world-class African-born strikers. Nicknamed "Black Panther," "Black Pearl," and "o Rei" the King , Eusebio is Benfica's all-time top goal scorer. He won the Ballon d'Or award for European Footballer of the Year in 1965 and was runner-up in 1962 and 1966. He played for Benfica for 15 years. The jersey is accompanied by a letter of authenticity which states that this jersey is a property from the collection of former Argentina national team and Boca Juniors player Silvio Marzolini whose club ID is photographed in the letter.Addendum: As described above, the jersey is believed to be worn by Eusebio during his career with Benfica. However, the exact season in which this jersey was worn is unknown. Although the accompanying COA states that the jersey was used during the 1968, we believe that either the owner or Marzolini misinterpreted this jersey to the 1968 season as the eagle design is slightly different from the available media. It still could be used during the 1968 season but we can't confirm this. The only thing we can confirm is that it was worn by Eusebio during his career from 1961 to 1975.
FERNANDO TORRES 2012 UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE FINAL MATCH WORN #9 CHELSEA JERSEYThe 2012 UEFA Champions League final was an association football match which took place on Saturday, 19th May, 2012 between Bayern Munich of Germany and Chelsea of England at the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany. The match was to decide the winner of the 2011-12 season of the UEFA Champions League, Europe's premier club football tournament. Bayern were making their ninth appearance in the competition's final, having won four and lost four, most recently losing in 2010. Chelsea were appearing in their second final, having lost their first in 2008.It was the first Champions League final to be held at the Allianz Arena (known as Fußball Arena Munich. for the final). As tenants of the Arena, this meant Bayern were the first finalists to have home advantage since 1984. Both teams progressed to the knockout stages by finishing top of their group. Bayern then beat Basel, Marseille and Real Madrid to reach the final, while Chelsea knocked out Napoli, Benfica and defending champions Barcelona.Bayern took the lead late in the second half through Thomas Muller, but Didier Drogba equalised for Chelsea five minutes later to take the game to extra time, in which Arjen Robben missed an awarded penalty, Petr ?ech saving the low drive. The teams stayed level at 1-1 and the match went to a penalty shoot-out, which Chelsea won 4-3 to clinch their first Champions League title. In doing so, they became the first London club to win the tournament, the fifth English club and 22nd overall.Presented is an Adidas blue jersey that was worn by Fernando Torres in the aforementioned match. The jersey features the name "TORRES" and #9 applied on the back. The Chelsea Club badge and matchday details are embroidered, while the Adidas logo and sponsor are heat-applied on front. The Champions League starball and the "RESPECT" patch are applied on right and left sleeves, respectively. The jersey brand is Techfit which is designed exclusively for players. Made in China. Sized 10. The jersey comes with an LOA which states that the jersey originates from the collection of the Atletico Madrid player Gabi Arenas.
DIEGO MARADONA 1986/87 MATCH WORN AND SIGNED #10 NAPOLI JERSEYVery few athletes are revered to such a level as Diego Maradona is by his fellow Argentines. The diminutive forward established himself as a national team talisman, culminating in the divine "Hand of God" goal he netted in the 1986 World Cup quarterfinals against England (nor should we forget the "Goal of the Century" later in that match, that wound up being the game-winner). So it's easy to forget the contributions Maradona made outside of his national team duties; indeed, "El Pibe de Oro's" club career took him across two continents, winning titles with FC Barcelona and SSC Napoli.Presented is a rare SSC Napoli red jersey used by Diego Maradona during the 1986/87 season. Across all competitions, Maradona made 41 appearances while scoring 17 goals as the club's star Argentine helped bring home the first-ever Serie A league title for Gli Azzurri. The red knit pullover jersey features Maradona's iconic number "10" in tackle twill. An SSC Napoli embroidered patch rests on the jersey's upper right chest opposite the Nicola Raccuglia "NR" sportswear logo on the left. The Italian food company "Buitoni" advertisement wordmark is painted across the jersey's chest which can be seen from inside the jersey. The jersey exhibits evidence of moderate use. Sized G. The jersey was also signed by Maradona with a black marker.

The account amusingly ends, "Thus ended the most wonderful trip in the most congenial company it has ever been my pleasure to have been with. It had been perfect except for the main object for which the trip was made, for although the company, weather fishing, food, liquor, etc., were of the best, the trip fell down on the primary motive: IT WAS NOT A CURE. As they would say in the medical profession, the treatment was a success, the the patient did not recover."
