A collection of porcelain to include two Coalport dishes, a Copenhagen dish, Aynsley, Spode and a Worcester blush ivory jugCopenhagen dish looks to be complete and intact. There is a flaw to the border, which has been glazed, to the underside. The marks have been cancelled, possibly for this reason.

A collection of Coalport 'Coalbrookdale' floral-encrusted wares, circa 1825-30 comprising a spill vase, the unglazed base with a blue printed 'Coalport' mark, 8.5cm high; an ink well with cover and liner, raised on four paw feet, underglaze blue 'CD' mark, 9cm high; a small twin-handled cup on quatrelobe raised base, nicely painted with flowers, 8.5cm high; a ring stand, with small figural head to the top of the column, 10cm diameter; and a matched miniature or toy tea service, comprising teapot and cover, teacup and saucer, printed 'Coalport' and 'CD' marks, and a sucrier lacking cover, unmarked; sold together with two English porcelain thimbles (qty)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Spill vase - Hairline crack descending from rim and most, if not all, flowers and leaves restored.Inkwell - Cover with restored breaks. An English porcelain rectangular plaque of the Castle of Chillon, Chillon Castle on Lake Geneva by Joseph Birbeck (Junior), late 19th/early 20th century, painted by Joseph Birbeck, artist signed 'J. Birbeck', titled to the reverse, framed, 20.5cm wide x 15cm highNotes: Joseph Birbeck Junior was born in Coalport, Shropshire to a family of talented porcelain artists and decorators. He trained at the Coalport factory, where he was at one time foreman of a painting shop and his notable work includes landscape painting after Turner. He joined Copeland in 1881 before working at Brown Westhead & Moore and latterly Royal Doulton from 1900 - 1926.Condition:Unexamined out of frame but no visible damages or repairs.

A pair of silver-mounted Coalport porcelain trumpet vases, decorated with flowers and butterflies, hallmarked for Thomas Latham & Ernest Morton, Birmingham, 1910, printed factory marks in green, 20.5cm high; sold together with a further Coalport vase, circa 1875-1881, of cylindrical form, moulded with relief with leaves, winged and other insects including a dragonfly, printed factory mark, numbered 'A2960' in black, 18cm high (3)Provenance: Ivor Southorn Collection.Condition:Single vase - closely crazed to the glaze all over. Wear to the gilding around the inner rim. Rubbing to one section of the gilt on the base.Pair of vases - some general tarnishing and a couple of minor dings and dents to the silver mounts. The way that the silver has been mounted is also quite crude. The porcelain is crazed but has no signs of damage.

There is one slight hairline or glaze scratch to the underside rim. The dentil rim gilding is also very dull in comparison to the rest of the gilt. One small original dentil peeking through suggests parts of this border faded or were rubbed and it was regilded at some stage. Rings true when tapped.
