Two Amber Bead Necklaces, formed of forty-one and forty-four graduated amber beads, lengths 63cm and 72cm respectively; A Pair of Amber Drop Earrings, formed of a single amber bead, with hook fittings, length 3.5cm; and A Pair of Amber Cufflinks, the round cabochon amber in a yellow rubbed over setting, with swivel bars. A Pair of Mother-of-Pearl and Diamond Cufflinks, circa 1930, the chain linked circular mother-of-pearl plaques with a white plain polished border and an old cut diamond centrally, in millegrain settings, total estimated diamond weight 0.40 carat approximately see illustration . The cufflinks are in good condition with slight marks to the mother-of-pearl and one diamond is glued into the mount. They are stamped with an eagle's head and in our opinion would test as gold and platinum. The approximate qualities of the diamonds are; colour J/K/L, clarity I1/I2/I3. Gross weight 6.9 grams. Silver Maidenhead Button. Circa 17th century. Silver, 1.49g. 14.11 mm. A two piece silver button depicting a crowned female bust with flowing long hair. Makers mark, initials: I.C. It is possible the image may be that of Catherine of Braganza, wife of Charles II. Many buttons and cufflinks of various styles were made in celebration of this royal wedding.
