The concrete is housed in a case featuring the phrase 'Rio/TOdos Os Caminhos/Levam Ao Gol' and the emblem of the government of the state of Rio de Janeiro, which owns the Stadium. A Britannia silver twin handled cup. With scrolled handles, decorated with a rope twist ring and gadrooned base, the body decorated with stars and leaves. Maker Harry Freeman London 1916. H9.5cm, 208.5 grams Condition Report: There is solder evident to handles and it is possible that the handles are later additions, elements of the decoration may also be later in date. With dent to underside of base and to body just above footrim, the upper rim is also misshapen, tarnishing overall and some slight surface scratching. Remnants of label and a postcode visible to base.

Deakin, Sheffield, 1901 tapering cylindrical and on spreading foot, with central reeded band and two scroll handles44cm wide over handles, 22cm high, 59oz 17dwt, 1,861grFully marked near handle. There is some wear to the marks, but in general they are still legible. There is some overall surface scratching and wear, consistent with age and use. There is a flooded inscription on one side and flooded crest on the other. These can only just been seen. There are some pin dents in places.

A Pattern 1897 cavalry officer's sword and scabbard: the 35" 'Patent Solid Hilt' blade numbered 39209 (1902) and etched with the badge of the 7th Queen's Own Hussars and owner's monogram EPB; the guard and the nickel-plated steel scabbard corroded.Lt.-Col. Edwin Perceval Brassey D.S.O., M.C. (1882-1973) was a grandson of the railway engineer Thomas Brassey, who by the time of his death in 1870 had, inter alia, built a twentieth of the world's railways. His father was Henry Brassey, MP for Sandwich from 1868 to 1885. He was educated at Eton, and at Sandhurst was a contemporary of Archibald Wavell. He received his commission with the 7th Hussars in 1902 and was promoted captain in 1911. He was an accomplished gentleman rider and polo player. He won the Grand Military Handicap Steeplechase in 1911 on Blue Hussar and was part of the 7th's team that won the Mysore Cup in 1912. He left his regiment in Bangalore in March 1914 and rejoined from the Special Reserve at the outbreak of the war. He and his elder brother Major Edgar Hugh Brassey M.V.O. (1st Life Guards) were wounded in France in late November that year. In March 1916 he transferred to the Coldstream Guards and was wounded again in October 1916. In 1917 he was appointed acting Major and in April 1918 given command of the Coldstream Guards, which he held until May 1919.Condition Report: The blade is straight and the sword fits the scabbard well. The blade is firm in the hilt and there is pitting and rust to the silver plate.
