L and F Moreau (French, 1855-1919 and 1857-1930): A clock garniture, the Rococo style clock body with two flaming torches flanking scrolling cartouche above white dial with Arabic numerals, to the side a bronze cherub playing the cymbals whilst standing on cloth drapery, the base with central original gilded scrolling leaves and two later gilt scrolls to front corners. lacking feet, clock movement stamped S.H. Paris, striking on a bell, base of clock with plaque inscribed 'Enfants aux Cymbales, par L. et F. Moreau, Mlle d'Or', flanked by a pair of urns cast with flowers and musical instruments, gilded compressed globular feet, all with pink-yellow marble bases, 32cm high and smaller. (3)
