In der Mitte die übereinander gelegten Fasci, Symbol des italienischen Faschismus, sowie das Pfeilbündel der spanischen Falange - Bewegung. Den Abschluß bildet ein mit Brillanten besetztes Band. Die 19 geschliffenen Brillanten in feiner Qualität. Die Augen der Adler aus vier geschliffenen Rubinen.Der Griff aus Ebenholz mit aufgelegten in Silber gearbeiteten Blattranken. Magnificent Presentation Dagger from the Italian Foreign Minister Count Ciano to Generalissimo Francisco Franco on the occasion of their allied victory in the Spanish Civil War 1939. The pommel and the quillons are worked in gold and set with diamonds. The quillons, which merge into the hilt, are in the form of two eagle heads on both sides in the finest sculptural goldsmith's work. In the centre the superimposed fasci, symbol of Italian fascism, and the arrowhead of the Spanish Falange movement. The finial is a band set with brilliant-cut diamonds. The 19 cut diamonds are of fine quality. The eagle's eyes made of four round cut rubies. The ebony handle with applied silver leaf tendrils. The pommel is a large cut rock crystal set in gold with the initials "FF" ( Francisco Franco) applied in gold. The double-edged blade with gilt edges and dedication engraving on both sides surrounded by laurel leaves: "IL MINISTERO DEGLI ESTERI . 1939 . A XVII E.F." On the ricasso the engraved coat of arms of fascist Italy. On the other side of the blade: "AL GENERALISSIMO FRANCISCO FRANCO". On the ricasso the coat of arms of fascist Spain. The dagger comes in a splendid presentation case of blue velvet with an applied copper hand-chased relief depicting St. George slaying the dragon and a coat of arms with the inscription: "JUNTOS PARA VENGER". The inner lining of yellow linen fabric with silver dedication plaques with the inscription: "MADRID / X GIUGNO 1939". Historically extraordinarily important presentation dagger presented to Franco on the occasion of the victory of the Spanish fascists and the allied fascist regimes of Germany and Italy in the Spanish Civil War. A museum object of hardly surpassable goldsmith's craftmanship and a unique historical relic on the history of Spanish and Italian fascism.

Silver-color metal scabbard, all decorated with filigree on the front part and with some colored, cabochon glass, spherical chape that takes the dagger decoration. Two lugs. Smooth back. length 46,3 cm.

The caption 'SACRIFICIUM ABRAM' below. The Tree of Knowledge, the Snake and Adam and Eve on the back facet. Carved on the tank sides with flowers and grape branches with birds.
