Very rare Third Reich NPEA Student Leaders Dagger with sheath and chain, from the National Political Institute of Education at Oranienstein, near Limberg, Germany. Maker Marked: Carl Burgsmuller, Berlin. The blade is marked "Mehr sein als scheinen" which translated means "Be modest but always excel". Well-kept example with minor surface wear.
