A 19th century Victorian mahogany cot / child's crib / daybed / bench. Constructed with turned column gallery throughout and raised on shaped supports. Comes with the addition of a later cushion to base in a light grey print with four mustard coloured tassels, one to each corner. Measures approximately 85cm H x 128cm W x 64cm D.
A 19th century American maple framed extending daybed / sofa. The daybed having carved ends with turned upright supports. Extending slatted centre with all raised on turned legs supports. Measures approx. 72cm x 185cm x 59cm. All lots in this auction are part of a private collection of antique furniture and smaller effects. The collection having been amassed over a 30-40 year period by an ex-furniture restore who's eye for a good piece shows through in this auction. An early 20th century French carved white marble figure of a semi-clad woman seated upon a daybed, raised on a veined marble plinth, 50cm wide, 29cm deep, 52cm high***CONDITION REPORT***A little discoloured in places such as the back of the head and small patches around the base, signs of small restorations to chipping around the edge of the base, apparently unsigned.PLEASE NOTE:- Prospective buyers are strongly advised to examine personally any goods in which they are interested BEFORE the auction takes place.
